Steak > chicken > fish IMO

I dont eat eggs after being in chicken coops, I do eat bonless skinless chicken though :D and sometimes KFC

Best source of protein out there in my opinion is Egg whites (NO YOLK) Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast. As for protein shakes u cant go wrong with 100% Whey Protein espically right after a workout with a bannana for carbs good idea since Whey Protein is the quickest absorbing protein out there. As for Casein protein u would take that as your 6 meal of the day good idea since its the slowest digesting protein out there so while your asleep your body is still gettin the protein it needs over the night.

is there anyway you can change your vote i remember i saw this thread when i first joined here and was a n00b... i voted for cheese lol

kinda hard to vote but oput 1 for milk since why is from milk and i liek whey. but then again i choulda picked chees since its out of that cheese making process that the whey is taken from.

then nutz #2

I like the combination of all in my weekly diet but i could eat beef an eggs daily............. kinda off topic i mix apple cider vinegar in my protein shakes, do you think the acid content is destroying the protein? my thought was the aid in break down and digestion any thoughts?

I think eggs were meant to be eaten as mechanically-separated, low-fat.
It’s rich in antioxidants, good fats, vitamins, and for the calories, a lot of protein.
There’s nothing healthy about such unnatural products.

Eggs are great to get protein with half boiled as I am using 2-3 eggs/day.Fish are just amazing source of protein as well with low fat.

If your bulking then steak, chicken, fish, eggs and more steak lol

I was gonna make a thread about this but since it's come up here I'll just ask. How much steak is too much steak? Im eating about 14-16oz of steak per day and everyone keeps telling me it's bad for me. I just keep telling them it's 130g's of protein and tasted great lol

eggs are gross after 6 months of eating them religiously. any idea's how to jazz em up?

LOL, been eating them religiously 5/6 days a week for over a year. Mostly Westerns because they're cheap and somewhat tasty.

I got tired of the Protein shakes for a while though, but I had to get back on the wagon after the Tendonitis, which caused me to gain back some BF. :(

the high protein source is no doubt red meat but it can't be eaten daily so have an egg daily to meet all your nutrients needs

We have been constantly searching for the best protein supplement in order to back up our strength training muscle routine. High quality protein sources are important when looking to build muscle as protein is the main building block for muscle growth.

I think Milk tops the list of best protein source as compared to other foods. Even many doctors recommend this to every person. Even dried fruits like almonds, raisins, cashew nuts, etc are high in protein.

i firmly disagree... calcium with milk, yes but compared to so many other things, milk is not a good option... chicken, fish and ground turkey are the three best options... egg whites are great options as well...raisins are more fiber, carb and sugar... fat free ground turkey is going to be the cleanest source that yields the most

Eggs have the highest biological value of a whole food, whey and soy protein are higher. Preference would be eggs. Easy, cheap, yummy.

Red meat is the BEST protein source....doesn't matter what anybody says.

Has the highest amino acid ratio and meat has the highest absorption rate.

Look up maximum protein experiment - epic meal time on YouTube. Haha

Complaining wont make you look good naked!

Turkey Burgers and brown rice twice a day. Add some hot sauce to spice it up. I buy them from Sam's club it Costco. Cook them every Sunday on my George Foreman grill for the entire week.

eggs for sure....I am also on the carb nite diet.....so when I mix my protein shake I add processed egg whites and mct oil for prolong energy and tons of hard boiled eggs

Flounder! (For cutting) I have 3 filets with a total of 36g of protein and 180 calories. I also eat lots of chicken, tuna, and egg whites of course!

I've never had a hard time with eggs... but I also fry them in coconut oil so its sweet and tasty. I also eat each whole egg in 1 mouth full so they go down fastee and easier

Organ meat, especially liver, is supposed to be the best, but I'm not running to butcher to get a bunch of heart and lung.

Eggs and fish.

There are numerous amounts of fitness exercises that you can do to improve your fitness level. Depending on what you want to achieve, you can go to do simple exercises you can do already and do not need any special equipment to join a gym and use more specialized equipment.

Once you have taken the time to determine your goals of health and fitness, the best way to decide what fitness exercises you want to do is follow the five components of fitness (cardiovascular, muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and composition body).

Here is a look at some exercises you can do for each component.

1.) For cardiovascular health, the best exercises are aerobic exercises. In other words, an exercise that is of low intensity, but requires a large amount of oxygen for an extended period. In general, aerobic activity should last at least 20 minutes. Of course, there are many recreational activities that are enjoyable and aerobic in nature. Some examples are: running, swimming, cycling, skating, dancing and walking speed. Apart from these activities, one of the easiest ways to get a good aerobic workout is to get an aerobic workout video. A simple Internet search should provide more than enough options.

For artists and athletes, it may be necessary to separate the next two components of fitness. But for ordinary people, it is probably not necessary, but of course, you can work on each component separately if desired.

Two.) Muscular endurance exercises are the opposite of cardio (aerobic). From muscle endurance exercises are anaerobic, which means they have a high intensity for a short period of time so you do not require a lot of oxygen. Some examples of exercises to help you improve your muscular endurance are pushups, sit-ups, push-ups, sprints, circuit strength training high repetition.

I have become a huge fan of Formulx, I think is the best whey protein on the market, they wanted to develop a recovery shake that could satisfy the needs of high-intensity athletes, providing all the nutrients their bodies needed post-workout, but at the same time did not jeopardize their health by putting less than optimal ingredients into the mix. They knew that their products source (where it came from), process (how it was formulated) and ingredients were going to lead them to the product they were after: A post-workout shake that delivered performance results, tasted great, all while being healthy to drink. Their flagship product, Formulx Natural Recovery, they feel hit that right on the mark. They started with their grass-fed whey protein powder, that is extracted through micro-filtration system, at cold-temperatures to yield a very pure whey protein (yet undenatured and rich in biological activity) that is readily absorbed by your muscles. This gives us a premium-protein source that has virtually no traces of lactose or fat, with all the important protein properties still intact. They added natural flavoring like cocoa powder and sweetened the product with Stevia, a plant extract, and Birchwood Xylitol, a hardwood extract, both of which are very low on the glycemic index to help regulate blood sugar levels. They also added MCT oil to help with energy sustainability and calorie burning. Lastly, they added a whole bunch of plant-extracted digestive enzyme goodies to help even the most stubborn stomach out their digest our product (The digestive enzymes include: Lactase, lipase, protease, bromelain, papain, cellulase and amylase).

I love the taste, is sweet but not overpowering in your mouth and I dare you to tell me different.. You can find their product on their web formulx.com and also if you want you can get a 10%off using the code: fitnessbynutrition

Re: Tuna

You have to watch how much tuna you eat out of a can... It's not so good for you. A friend of mine got mercury poisoning. Obviously it's okay to eat, but I just wouldn't eat it every day. Same with canned salmon.

I eat a can of tuna every day and have for over 5 years. If I was younger or hadn't had all the kids that I may restrict it

Wait a minute, what's that smell in the air? THAT'S RIGHT, CHICKEN, CHICKEN.

I recommend going with dark meat. Buy it, clean the fat off and devour at will.

It's cheap and tastes great.

I really do not get how people are still eating eggs after years and years of constantly eating them. I cannot stand the mere thought of another egg in my mouth (despite the fact that I will continue eating them). Just the consistency of the egg whites just makes me want to scream! Red meat and chicken all the way.

I'm a big fan of grass fed red meat and chicken personally!
