Best OTC for Acne treatment?

Need to get the under control ASAP, back and shoulders are outta control with acne! What are the best treatments OTC? Thanks.

try the search, but I'd say the best would be a the pro-active. To do it separate, you'd need to buy a salicylic acid body wash, some benzoyl peroxide cream, and a salicylic acid toner... Give that a go with the b-5. Good luck, acne sucks.

My dermatologist recommended Hybiclens. Its a pink soapy liquid that you can buy at the pharmacy. If you don't see it, ask the pharmacist because sometimes they keep it behind the counter. Surgeons use it to scrub in for surgery. It will kill the bacteria on the skin.

Apply liberally to the affected areas full strength. Let it dry. I used to put it on at night and then put on a t-shirt and then wash it off in my morning shower. Its the best OTC therapy you can use to control acne.

I have a girl who takes care of my back for me, and she says that the Salicylic Acid Body Wash and Soap with Tea Tree Oil are the two best treatments OTC that are available. I can attest that the Tea Tree Oil Soap works quite well brother. I'd give that a shot. Try your local Health Food or Vitamin Store to find it. Whatever you do though, do not use anything with Benzoil Peroxide in it(Stridex). All that shit does is to cause the area to become red and even more irritated. Just because it burns, doesn't mean that it is working. Good Luck

Just make sure what ever you are using you scrub a little with a spongeee or what ever the hell the poofy things are called. Need to continuosly remove all the dead skin to keep from clogging pores. It works for me anyways

I get acne pretty bad, but my last cycle was very acne free... the difference was ALA 1500 mg a day, Evening Primrose oil (not sure of the dosage). Neutragena Face wash with Salicylic acid, Body wash and Scrub... Also, a Salicylic Acid body lotion.

B-5 did absolutely nothing for me, so I can't endorse that garbage, but for some it may work.

My 2 cc's

Yep. I use tea tree oil too.

I HATE benzoyl peroxide. It aggravates everything.

Tea tree oil facewash+Salycilic acid 2% facial scrubber

and, Neutrogena 2% Salycilic acid body wash
