What fighting game franchise has generated the best fighting game in your opinion?

Tekken, Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat

In my opinion it's Tekken.

King of Fighter series
The Last Blade 2
Blazblue series
Guilty Gear series
Melty blood actress again current code
Street fighter III 3rd strike < The best !

Besides Mortal Kombat, thats the one I liked to play. Even went and bought both for xbox years later.

That's a FPS. Different kind of fighting game. But yes I did enjoy that one a lot, I liked bad company(BF2) just as much. Then the MWF series.

Tekken is the shit. But I never really like street fighter until streetfighterXtekken came out. Marvel vs Capcom is alright then it gets boring

the Tekken series for sure. I just got Tekken Tag 2 for the PS3.. also there is always a soft spot for Mike Tyson's Punch Out and the remake on the Wii

Well, Dead or Alive 4 for me. Not really "the best," but it's fun to play. I like the controls. Soul Calibur has always been clunky to play, but maybe it's just me.

Also, anyone here ever tried "Thrill Kill Uncensored"? It's a banned PS1 fighting game that obviously never got released. I got to try it and it was interesting. Not sure what was so ban-worthy about it though, because even Silent Hill (the 1st one) was more traumatic than Thrill Kill, from what I've seen of it.
