best diet for boxer?

I want to get into boxing. My dad used to box a lot growing up and I really love the sport. I never got into it though, but after he passed away I’m now in my 40s and I want to get into it hardcore. My question is what is a good diet for boxers? Should I go high protein or should I go more high carbs?

Stick to high quality whole food options. Those are very important to use. They will not cause issues with digestion.

Boxers need to be light on their feet so I would recommend eating a lot of light foods. Don't be eating heavy foods like tomato sauce or something that's going to upset your stomach.

Bros. If I'm a boxer I'm going to go low carb and high protein. I think that would work good. And you can always increase the carbs as you need them.
