If you are strict about your diet, then it is very important that you take flaxseed oil in the morning and at night. I usually mix 2 tablespoons with 1/2 protein shake in the AM, then the same in the PM. Dont buy the pills filled with flaxseed oil because they are more expensize and you actually get less oil overall!
Like Zyg said, flaxseed oil will help you get leaner! I know it sounds weird, taking in fat and losing it at the same time, but like he said, these are the good fats that your body gets seldom of and needs for dietary processing.
