Listen to 1-dawg. I went from a 355 bench at 215 in July of 2001 to a 450 bench at 218 last week, 2d week of November 2001. I would point out that the 450 last week was without coffee, smelling salts, etc... and was actually the 10th work set of the night, I was trying out a new shirt, at the same time as testing bar speed. Both passed.
I use the same system that Kenny Patterson and George Halbert use to set the numerous world records they have set. I am nowhere near their level yet, but with only 6 months of powerlifting under my belt after years of slugging aimlessly in the gym, I am pretty happy.
I am also on course to setting a new WABDL Novice bench record in March 2002. I have absolutely no doubt I would be nowhere near the level I am at today without the Westside system. Believe it, or don't believe it, I don't care, but when you go to a meet, and see a guy wearing Chuck Taylor Converse's, and wearing a WSB t-shirt, look out for him, he is probably the man to beat. This is not about how great I have done, I am nothing special, this stuff works for anyone, even me.
