I just had the surgery in November - I haven't done any abs yet, just did legs last week for the first time. Truth be known I'm kinda scared - it feels kinda weird sometimes and I can feel the cone at the base of my belly button.

Didn't I tell you about the tube from my belly button to my stomach that had to be removed and closed up? The hernia was just below the belly button and from what he said that "easy part" :worried:

Yep, I'm just a little less of a freak than I was two months ago.

HOOORAH!

Just one hernia? How long after you realized you had one did you have the surgery?

I had a scare a few times, and still don't know, what it is.. I get a huge knot in one particular place.. cramp and balls up something fierce.

big sister, that sounds like a partially torn abdominal. You really need to have a physician look at that.

Dammit...

Not something else Broke :worried:

What gets me is it never EVER acts up when Im training .. And i've used heavy weights for abs while training for PL'ing.

It normally happens in the tub.. sitting up or something simple like that.

those are times when the ab wall isnt constantly being "flexed" or heldin...when it sags is when the pain will typically start

the tear was most likely caused by training though. Seriously, you should go have a doc look at it, preferably a sports medicine specialist. At this point it could possibly heal on it's own, but left unchecked you're definitely looking at surgery to reattach it.
