which one should be done first? basketball warms your muscles up, but also stretches them out after a long workout. any insight, or does it even matter?
I say cardio last, because you will be burning stored fat after lifting weights. if you do basketball first, you probablt won't have as much energy/carbs to last you through your workout. I don't know, just what I think.
It's not about burning fat - it's about depleting glycogen stores. If you do bbal first, you will have a much weaker workout - guaranteed - unless you eat after basketball - but since i take it you are trying to lose fat do the following
Weights
Cardio (30mins)
Eat post workout shake immediately after.
Cardio only days (60mins more or less)
wait 60 mins for next mea (not post workout).
