Basic 9 Week Westside Program

new member

I like the article on basics to westside barbell. I have been surfing the web trying to locate some good powerlifting workout programs. I have mainly stuck to a bodubuilding type routine but I am now interested in powerlifting. I have limited knowledge in the realm of powerlifting though. I am currently 5'10 205 lbs. I am doing a pyramid bench program that has my projected max at 330 lbs. The program has you do the following rep scheme: 12 reps at 200 , 7 reps at 265 , 2 reps at 300 , 5 reps at 265 and 10 reps at 235. I want to attain a 400 lb bench but I feel that I will not reach it at this rate so I am trying more powerlifting techniques. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My arms measure 17 " , chest is 44"(needs improvement),bodyfat about 10 %(waist 33.5) . My goal is to be able to run 2 miles yet still bench well over 300 lbs.Gee I dont ask for much do I! Any help out there jump on in.

Well A Dimel Is basically a Partial Deadlift used for high Reps and Low weight.. You only lower the Bar to just below your knees before pulling back up and exploding your hips forward.. I believer there are some pics on www.Elitefts.com under the Exercise section...
