Bar Pad Thing? during Multiple Sets of Squats?

Those things are nasty. My gym has one at both of the squat racks and I see all kinds of people using them and sweating all over them. That's a great way to spread ring worm and other things. I've personally never used one so I don't know if they're comfortable or not.

I kick them across the gym to the far corner where they belong; near the foam rollers, inflatable balls, floor mats, and other lesser items in hopes a personal trainer will find new use for them, claiming them and preventing them from contaminating the squat rack again.

Foam roller advocate here - anything that will stimulate blood flow and help accelerate recovery is OK in my book. Research the benefits. You'll be rolling all over the floor bumping into the yoga mat crowd before I can say I told ya so...
