Ever have one of those days when you just really don't want to lift? I haven't been eating near as much as I should be lately...gotta start eating more and drinking more water. Started out ok then died off quickly...lol. Finally just said forget it...haha

Flat Bench Press

385 x 0 (no energy at all)

Standing Dbell French Press (wait till you see my contraption)

Atlas Stone

After my chest and tric work...I just said to heck with it. Didn't feel like doing much else and hadn't touched an atlas stone in several weeks. Ohh well...seems as if every bad workout is followed by a couple of great ones. Contest in 8 days.
 
Another pic. The camera just takes a pic when it wants to...lol. This is somewhere near the bottom, but I think I went just a tad bit deeper on my 2-5th reps. My first one is always the shallowest for some reason.

It was fun bringing this thing up from the ground in front of me, around my body, then doing each rep. The lower plates kept hitting me in the butt...lol.

I might us an EZ curl bar next time...hhaa

the angelfire link still didn't work when I cut/pasted the url... oh well - let us know if you try a different way.

why were you using a bar for the tri-exts - did you try putting all the weight on one end so the other end doesn't hit you in the behind? then again, balance might be a problem, along with getting it into position - must admit I've never tried those with a bar :D
 
nice. Sucks you had a bad workout.. my squat suit test went straight down hill from when i p ut it on... it sucked horribly.

Nice videos... atlas stone is very imrpessive. Nice contraption for french press... just hope the weight doesnt come off

I may try putting the weight on one end when I try them again. I may not do them because I feel like I get more out of Tate Presses and Lying Dbell Exts. I think that they work better for both strength and size than the dbell french presses.

I don't highly suggest the french presses at all...but good for a variation. It is hard for me to get my shoulders back that far anyway...lol...till I fully warm up.

I hope that my log press will do ok on Sunday. Would like to get about 6-9 reps with the 240 log. 240 on mine is a lot closer to 260-270 on most...and I know that there will be a guy in STL who has done 13 reps with 24 before. Just want to get place in the top 3 in every event...ya know?
