Backlash

We really want to go. It's a fairly long drive so we'd have to leave Friday and stay the night, so we just need to make sure we can take a little time off work Friday. Sounds like it's gonna be hella-crowded and fun though!
 
Whoa... how would that work, with 35 people lifting in your basement? I'd love to meet everyone but it doesn't seem like we could get much actual lifting done?
 
Backlash, have you SEEN my basement? lol. 1500 square feet of fun. Don't worry, you'll get your alotted 42 square feet to kick ass in. We have two power racks, a deadlift platform; hell we might even have a monolift by then. Also, some of the wives aren't lifting.

Project has extra accomodations if you need to stay in town. :)

You could always car poole with red_evil. :devil:

:D Yeah. And I love the old 1991 Arcade game Wrestlefest. It had lots of the great personalities from the late 80s like Sgt Slaughter.

And y'know, I only remember Sgt. Slaughter from the G.I. Joe cartoon...he taught me what a ditty bag is.
 
Iron Sheik, Jake the Snake, Junk Yard Dog, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, Big John Studd (my dad actually used to be a body guard with Big John...he was a really nice guy too).

I'm in the city. The tornados usually like to plow through the flat, uninterupted land just north and south of us. I've never actually seen a tornado, plus I'm not in Kansas. lol

Didn't Big John pass away not too long ago?
 
Yes, I have commitment issues :). Sorry, I've been off the computer since Wed afternoon... family in town. Like I said, we want to come, I think we'll come, just gotta clear the time off work for Friday the 5th first.
 
Ummm...I guess we are going to find a way to come...

Gosh, I'm starting to feel sick...I won't be able to work on Friday...I'll go ahead and call my boss now...:)

I think it was more like a few (or more) years ago...he had a little boy and a little girl...not to mention a very nice wife. I'm sure I have some pics with him at my parents house...I'll have to dig them up when mom & dad return from a short vacation. What a super nice guy...:(
