Back after a layoff...

Okay, going to start training again - my right shoulder was bothering me for so long, coupled with being burnt from so many drugs, I've decided to hit the weights again.

I'm still planning on keeping myself trim for now, in the Summer, then bulking come Fall or Winter.

I want to use DC training, but wanted to know one thing...

If I start lifting now but am simply cutting, should I use DC? Because I'm planning on using it when I bulk too, and I wasn't sure if there should be variety in routines between now and then.

no, yuoll get a better response from bulking if you wait to use it. I would start with a generic 3x8 working sets for compunds and maybe 2x10 for isolations/auxileries.

Oh, and good luck coming back!!!!

With that "generic" workout you suggested - how should I split my training days? Should I work each bodypart 2x/week? Should I do a 4-day split? Fullbody 3x/week?

The generic workout suggested lends itself better to a 3-5 day split concentrating on 1-2 body parts per workout.

If you would like to do a fullbody workout 3 times a week, the volume would probably need to be lowered to 1-2 working sets per body part. Check out the DC and HST threads in the sticky for that type.
