Paleolithic Diet. Basically you eat whatever was available to our ancestors in pre-agricultural revolution times, meaning no starches like rice potatoes, etc. Anything you can gather form nature and kill from nature you can eat (chicken, cow, fish). Meaning fresh fruits and veg, nonprocessed meats and seafood. Thats it. If anything has been canned or processed you dont eat it. There are allowances for things like onion/garlic powder and pepper for seasonings. Also you can use certain oils like canola oil or olive oil, depending on saturated fat levels. No salt, no saturated fats, absolutely nothign canned or processed. Ive lost 10 pounds of pure fat just by eating this way and my energy has gone way up. It sounds like another low carb diet, but it is really a no starch diet, you can eat all the carbs you want as long as it comes from fruits/veg.
There is a book called The Paleo diet if you want all the info. Its a very simple diet and there are no calorie counting.
