(or just feel people look at u as an antisocial weirdo)

Being a bachelor with no future of relationship(unless you want it that way) I'd say 30.

Up until recently, thought all this "meeting someone nice thing" had passed me by. But now have a lovely GF.

However, a friend of mine is in his 40's and seperated. He tells me that the biggest problem is that the women you meet in your 40's tend to have a serious amount of emotional baggage with them. Nobody wants to listen to someone going on and on about their ex-husband or all their other failed relationships.

when 90% of the people you meet- men and women, come to you discretely over time and tell you how much they wish they were single, it sheds a whole new light on things...i will say this: most of the 90% have gotten married for the wrong reasons at the time they did it (very begining)...there are times i long for someone special, because now i know so much more...the mistakes made in the past would not be repeated-Not to say new mistakes would not be made-but i have a much more clear understanding of what its all about, why- and to find someone at the same place and time, is going to be rough...however, iam content with my solitude, it is extremely liberating in many many ways...
