Are you one of those hardores that gives idiotic advice?Or one that gives none at all

first, i think that any questions and/or advice should be preceeded by specifying your age, height, weight, bodyfat, length of time training, and past cycles (if any). that would probably draw a more accurate and suitable response. it makes no sense to advise a novice to put in 500mg of test and 200mg deca every 7 days is inappropriate as he really does not need so much.

next, you and only YOU are resposible for your actions. that girl that took T-3 and got amazing fat loss results but now struggles to get her thyroid back to normal is clearly IMO foolish.
I did weeks of extensive research before beginning my first cycle. and would never just take a drug because 'somebody' said it works.

last but not least, i think it's important not to bash anyone and stay respectful as we all, at some time, ask a question that's been asked before.

brothers, enough said. please, go to the kitchen and pound your protein drink.

Other than Mike P. T., I think the majority of dosing information and beliefs on anabolics in this thread couldn't be more wrong.

The original post was poorly written. The intentions were good, but it's been said before.

MrSkinny, if your female friend is indeed still having problems, feel free to e-mail me, [email protected] We can discuss it and go over some possible resolutions. Unless she had a pre-existing thyroid condition (which you would only know if you had blood work done ahead of time), it is VERY doubtful her thyroid is shut down from a T3 cycle.

I think the original post makes some good points -- some of which I'd like to quickly address.

Telling newbies to use the search is not always the best advice. As we all know, there's a lot of bad information on the net. Any kid with an opinion can write on the net. Using more traditioal published information may not be as cutting edge, but it'll be more sound advice for a beginner.
Case in point: Anyone who has never seen less than 50 mgs of winstrol a day recommended has been reading too many posts and not enough traditional literature on the topic.

If you're a newbie, it's simply common sense to be conservative and test the waters.

All too often these threads become personal debates. Look what happened here already -- an argument over the merits of test and Deca. This doesn't help a confused neophyte.

I believe this board needs to be revamped. The exercise, diet and counterfit, forums get almost no traffic. STICKYS should provide basic information to newcomers -- (such as Quadsweeps advice and the newbie cycle thread) not be a topic that's popular with a select few members.

Still, it's the best board around. Most other forums I've checked out are controlled by a small group of misfits who piss on anyone who isn't a part of their little clique. Under the circumstances, in spite of the occasional pain in the ass, we do pretty well here. Anyone can learn a lot.

there is no such thing as a free lunch. you cant expect to get an elaborate personal consultation for free, neither from a gym buddy or off the boards. i've got the best information from sources you have to pay for - books, magazines like Muscular Development and reprints of scientifc articles.
i think the owner of this site offers personal consultation and some other boards have professional trainers too, like muscletalk.co.uk or professionalmuscle.com. it's money well spent.

Excellent points, both you and Nelson Montana.

If you don't mind a bit of a slower board, but one that is pretty accepting and answers a lot of these questions in the manner to which Nelson refers, check out: http://www.anabolicmadness.com

My post was with good intentions. I was simply venting and annoyed that sometimes really really bad advice is given. As it is annoying when a newbie is crying out for help on a subject and gets the same answer many times........Use the search or none at all.
Over the years I'm sure that questions have been asked over and over again, but how many different questions can you really ask about the subject of AS??
If we all used the search for old topics everytime then the amount of material showing up on the boards would be minimal. Reading old posts and doing search everytime is not as fun and interactive as say...........participating in a interactive post such as this! Now (but old) posts may be repetitive, but are none the less informative and make the site alot more appealing to NEWBIES!
(am I right on the money or what?)
As for the Deca vs. Test debate which will never truly end, you're right everyone is different as one may take 1000mg of test and get nothing while another takes 200 and gets gyno. Some people get deca dick while others seem to have no problem at all.
I guess testing the waters is always the best advice when using anything new that could lead to negative sides.

Wait a minute! This post started out saying some people give idiotic advice and others don't give any advice. The thing about advice is ... there's a line: A wise man doesn't need it and a fool doesn't heed it. It's been common knowledge that T3 can make you hypothyroid. Why take it when you can take beta-agonists like clenbuterol and ephedrine? If I see a thread on T3 or D-bol or a-drol, I don't even read them because I don't want to take them. I'm not going to go around warning people again and again and again and again. I mean, do you think your girlfriend is the first person to suffer because she took T3? No! And that has been a commonly known risk associated with taking thyroid (T3) because you may have to take it the rest of your life because it may cause hypothyroidism....Not to mention that it is catabolic -- unlike clenbuterol, a thermogenic that is ANTI-catabolic. So all I can say is tough luck. Caveat Emptor. In other words, let the buyer beware. In '95 I went to get a Rx for Nizoral and the dermatologist began to tell me about side-effects. I was able to rattle off the studies that I read about in the Physicians Desk Reference at the bookstore which refuted his assertions and he immediately changed course and wrote me a script for a year's worth of Nizoral. In other words, I did my own research and knew it was from a credible source. Bottom line is: You cannot just blindly trust advice you get on here. I thought that was our point: Some give bad advice, others give no advice? So what? Do your friggin research and then, armed with knowledge from a credible source, fill in the gaps by specifically directing your questions to those who have used the compound/drug/supplement that you are considering taking. You have no way of knowing who knows what they are talking about and who doesn't. I remember a thread where Icelandic kept asking and re-posting because I was speaking from experience -- my results and side-effects from 3 kits of Serostim. Pretty smart because he knew he was talking to someone who had the first-hand experience and exhausted out of me all the info he could. But then I shortly thereafter saw a post where he was giving someone advice on the effects of GH even though he learned it from me. But the source (me) was reliable and his info to others was based on what he learned. But you don't know where he is getting that info/advice. So, bottom line, you never know who you can rely on. Do your own research then follow it up with specific questions and make sure the person telling you knows it for a fact, rather than just regurgitating something he read on another thread from who knows.
