Are you getting 4000 clean calories per day?

are you looking for a bulker or maintenace....although some people could even cut on 4k cals...
 
heres my diet, works out to a little over 4000 cals, all solid food, 400 grams protein, 300 grams carbs ~160 grams fat

meal 1
5 eggs
1\2 cup oats
1 cup milk

meal 2
4 boneless skinless chicken tenders
4 slices wheat bread
1 tbs olive oil
1 cup milk
2 cups brocolli

meal 3
turkey salad
1 can tuna
1/2 cup oats
1 tbs olive oil
1 cup milk

meal 4
2 cups brocolli
1 can tuna
1/2 cup oats
1 cup milk
1 tbs olive oil

meal 5
1/2 lb steak
1 cup milk
1 tbs olive oil

meal 6
1/2 lb steak
2 cups plain yogurt

meal 7
4 chicken tenders
2 tbs nat pb
2 1/2 cups milk


this is a non training day. training days are exactly the same except i add a post workout shake.

takes LOTS of time in the kitchen, but its doable :)

is that for a cutting diet or bulking??? and if its for bulking do you feel it allows you to put on good size without the excess fat??

good lord, 4000 kcal's per day....I hope it is maintenance or bulking. If it is cutting then he is either doing some serious training or looks like jay cutler

lol, i wished i looked like jay cutler. I'm still a skinny guy at 245 (i'm 6-4 though so 245 doesnt go as far as it does on most people).
anyways, its a bulking diet and ive only been doing it for about the last 2 weeks. I can't really say how well it's working yet. My weight has been kind of jumping up and down the last couple days but it looks like it's trying to go up, i'm 3 lbs up from when i started. I've been gaining about a lb a week and my waist is looking slightly tighter but i was kinda fat to begin with (around 18%) because i was bulking with hamburger helper and subway before ;) Sorry i'm not much help, i need more time before i can say for sure whether or not the diet is working the way it's supposed to.

I drink only skim milk and i was eating sirloin but i've switched over to eye of round. From what people have said around here, it's the leanest cut you can get.
