Are weight trainers at higher risk for sleep apnea?

I think they're around $5000, but I've heard so many people complain of hating them, that I'd check eBay and Craigslist for a barely-used one cheap!

if the sleep apnea is a serious problem shouldnt you get some sort of prescription for it? sleep apnea has killed people in their sleep before I would expect you to get one for free if you have free health care in your country or get one on health insurance or whatever if not...

First, it is a serious problem. Unfortunately at the moment here in the USA we do not have health care for everyone. However we do have guns for everybody.

To the person who posted that they wanted a mask and machine, I would suggest joining www.cpaptalk.com. Some people go there to sell their old machines. You can then buy a new mask for about $30-$50. A new air tube can be had for $10. You really need a second sleep test so that the doc can find the best air pressure level. Best of luck to you. OSA is not something to take lightly.
