Are so many supplements really needed?!

U know as read these threads everyday, especially cycle logs or cycles that people wanted critiqued, and some of these have some many different supps for just one cycle is it really needed?! Some cycles are so basic yet ur taking twelve supps/"protectors" just seems so harsh for the body besides whatever gear ur taking. Example.

A guys doin a basic bulker cycle, Beast/Test cyp. Now besides the test and beast they r taking

A preworkout
Protein drinks
Creatine
Bcaas
Amino acids
Test booster
RX (adex, nova)
Forma stanzol
Liver protector
Vitamnins, fish oils, b12, etc,etc
Something for acne
Something to burn calories
Something to help sleep
A liver protector
Plus the list of PCT items
Plus the items we take in-between cycles

Do u ever just sit back and go damn I put a lot of shit in my body at once. Now I'm not saying it's bad in general, an I'm very aware many items are needed for a successful cycle cuz I'm just as guilty, but is it all really needed, and the money we shell out...WoW! Just a thought, or maybe I'm just really bored at work :)

Most of those ingredients can be covered with BIG BLAST UNLEASHED and N2GUARD.
 
Its just the nature of a bodybuilder to get excessive with eveything that we do.
Of course boatloads of everything under the sun is not needed for health and gains.

so true, but I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to supplements lol
 
well i will follow this up with this. the best supplement we all agree is FOOD.. however since today we live in a 21st century world we don't always have access to healthy food at work.. so supplements help supplement.. also before bed i would rather eat a supplement than eat food cause of digestion reasons. i dont like going to bed on a full stomach. eating nothing wouldn't be smart so supplements help me 'supplement' before bed.. when i wake up and during the day when i do not have a chance to eat a nutritious lunch.
