Are so many supplements really needed?!

U know as read these threads everyday, especially cycle logs or cycles that people wanted critiqued, and some of these have some many different supps for just one cycle is it really needed?! Some cycles are so basic yet ur taking twelve supps/"protectors" just seems so harsh for the body besides whatever gear ur taking. Example.

A guys doin a basic bulker cycle, Beast/Test cyp. Now besides the test and beast they r taking

A preworkout
Protein drinks
Creatine
Bcaas
Amino acids
Test booster
RX (adex, nova)
Forma stanzol
Liver protector
Vitamnins, fish oils, b12, etc,etc
Something for acne
Something to burn calories
Something to help sleep
A liver protector
Plus the list of PCT items
Plus the items we take in-between cycles

Do u ever just sit back and go damn I put a lot of shit in my body at once. Now I'm not saying it's bad in general, an I'm very aware many items are needed for a successful cycle cuz I'm just as guilty, but is it all really needed, and the money we shell out...WoW! Just a thought, or maybe I'm just really bored at work :)

No I dont think you are alone. I too think about this all the time when I am taking my daily vitamins/fish oils/creatine/proteins etc.... I do believe though that if taken with moderation and common sense we will do just fine, lol I could also be fooling myself too!!

All I can say is that I am approaching 50 and am in close to being best shape of my life ( in my 20s i was in very good shape) and can really thank you all folks here on the forums that supply info and advice making sure the supplements are taken correctly
 
I dont think you need all that at all. You can get most of it by just eating right, you dont need sleeping pills, something to burn cals, something for acne, the certain estro products that you have listed on and on IMO. I just take HCG, Forma, Hcgen, and post/unleashed, eat like an animal (clean) turn out perfect every time.
 
i dont mess with protein shakes or whey cause it makes me feel blah and i have a tough time digesting it. i depend on food for my protein, not shakes.

i do like to take something to get my amino acids/BCAA's, i also like some creatine here and there.. fish oil here and there when my joints need the extra stuff. power chews BCAA's bottle I am working on now.. about halfway through it.

i tend to change up my supp stack monthly.. i get 90% of my stuff from NTBM. fast shipping and love the prices. i have a pic up somewhere of my NTBM stack i ran last month if anyone is interested. it seemed to really push me to another level. do i think supps are necessary? yes if you want to feed your muscles and push yourself to another level. no if you are content just being average.

but you have to be honest.. what results do YOU want and how much are you willing to INVEST to get there. You also have to realize that if you want to take a drug like xyz you might need to then take abc to minimize the damage. That can be a viscious cycle.

Yes I agree, no doubt. I just think some people take it overboard with certain items.

I think too many people have the more is better idea. I also think a lot of guys do not read labels to look and see how products over lap, etc. I always take creatine and bcaa's. I cycle with NTBM products and take some sort of liver protectant, hcgenerate.

Post cycle is forged and anabeta then bridge in between..

that is it.
