I was at least 28 ... I think HabitualHealth was 31 ... she is on fire ...msam76 said:Hey, I was wondering if there was anyone out there that started out at 30+ bf? How are you doing now?
Daisy_Girl said:In my transformation thread, I think I started at about 28%ish, went down to about 15% in roughtly 4 months or so. Was tough to maintain 15% for me, so I sat at about 18% for awhile - then got pregnant and am now a fat fuck.![]()

Still a work in progress. But I eat better, train harder and overall have improved my health to a point now where I haven't had an infection for nearly 8 months![]()
I'll get there......

Often if you are taking your first serious stab at "fitness", i.e. concentrated diet AND training (not just cardio!!!!!), the bodyfat numbers probably speak more to your lack of muscle mass than to your fat mass. The "average" bodyfat for a typical female is about 24-25% and many of these ladies look really good at that bodyfat ratio - but the high number is due more to low muscle mass than high bodyfat.
In this society, girls aren't taught that muscle is good for them. 'OMG I don't want to look like A MAN!!!!" Right. Whatever Guess what? You don't have enough natural testosterone to look like a man so stop making excuses and STFU and lift! Nicely sculpted muscle mass is what keeps you looking amazing in the bikini at the beach and upright and active when you are 90 instead of being a hunched up, osteoporosis-ridden, frail little old lady.
*steps down from rant box *
But just to keep things in perspective, this is a muscle board and there are lots of competitors and other fitness nuts here - I don't know what the average bodyfat measure is but I bet the muscle mass portion of that ratio has more meaning here than it does in the "regular world" (and that's a GOOD THING!)
