If so, did you like it? Or did you get the dreaded elevated estrogen levels (though some people claim that is a myth)

i got some soy isolate and made some pancakes out of it but ever since i read that about estrogen, i don't use it...to bad, the stuff is dirt cheap

I have some and I do use it if I use letro and estrogen drops too low. I didn't believe it lowers test levels as I haven't read any real data on humans. After reading some pubmed studies that were done on every animal from rats , to mice to primates it appears that phytoestrogens do lower testicular mass.

But note that phytoestrogens are in many plants , not just soy

Where is mac and ulter?

The myth about estrogen levels and lower test has been around forever and is often debated. I am wondering how true it is.

I used to eat soy protein religiously.... soy burgers, soy chips, soy protein powder, tofu... you name it... and I have to say, I did notice a decrease in sexual function and libido after a while... so I'm not sure what science and medicine say, but from personal experience, there's something with soy to be concerned about if you're a guy... small amounts, I'm sure, are not a problem.. just don't overdo it... these days, alot of things contain soy protein, especially anything that's labeled as "carb-conscious" or dietetic... so I stay away from those types of foods
