Anyone Looked at Bikini Prices Lately? Holy Crap. $$$

Victorias Secret sends me a catalog every other day it seems - and I've been getting the swim issues. $220.00 for a bikini. Holy crap.

Last year I spent $75.00 on one of their suits - it wore out by the end of the season, same as a cheap one would. This year, I got smart and bought clearance suits from 2004. I got a bikini from VS for $20 and 2 suits from Ritchie Swimwear for $30 a piece.

I spent $25 CDN on a bikini I love at the end of last season. There isn't a chance in hell I would ever spend any where close too $100 for a bikini.

No joke - I haven't bought a new suit in a couple years. There is just something SO wrong about spending $100+ for something I wear a few times a year - and I live in the sunny desert!

I'm a desert dweller as well - but I wear one A LOT in the summer. We have water toys - boat, waverunners - and spend a lot of time in Lake Havasu.
