I buy some products from GNC. I know you all hate gnc and think they are overpriced, but it's convenient for me and I am regrettably kind of an impulse "gotta have it now" guy.
So anyways, is there a way to find out the "quality" of supplements other than to go have them tested myself? Is there anything published on different brands? For instance - I use gnc's 100% whey, l-glutamine, and looking into taking a beta-alanine supplement.
GNC has pretty solid prices for these particular items which fit my budget, but I have no idea how they compare in terms of product quality. I have always believed in the saying that you "Get what you pay for", but it doesn't seem that it's the case with supps. Any info is cool if you guys know of any publications or sites that have run independent studies.
