anyone ever workedout on three hours of sleep?

a well rested body that takes a day off is more beneficial than one that is not and still lifts, in my opinion.

agreed

use your lifting time to take a nap

Only if it was a 3 hour nap after getting a full nights rest! Going to the gym tired is a recipe for disaster.

I'd have to agree with that. I have tried it several times, and it is flat out pointless to even go, IMO. Take the nap...or just postpone the workout for the next day...it would definitely be to your benefit.

i need at least 6 hours of sleep or im not going to the gym cause i have to be able to perform 100% while im there so rest that day and then hit the gym the next day

I've done it but I can say that its a 50/50 shot for me. I may get a good workout, I may not. I do not like to make a regular habit of it, sleeping is most important, followed by eating, followed by training, IN THAT ORDER.

The last 2 weeks, about, i've only gotten around 3-5 hours/night.. I'm really not that tired, seem to be growing.. I wish I could sleep more--just can't :(

I worked chest yesterday after only 2 hours sleep.:(

Had a cold, working midnights this week, it wasn't fun.

It really all depends if you worked out the day before. If you did work out the day before, then I would have to say no it would not be a good idea. Your body must rest, to me rest and nutrition are more important and just one workout .
