Anyone Ever Screwed Up Their Neck?

3 days ago it was by back day and that night after my workout i must have slept in a really bad position!

For the last 3 days i have been in absolute agony because my neck muscle (trapezius methinx) has been seriously strained or pulled whatever.

Anybody come across this problem throughout their lifting days or anytime?

At this stage i would rather if i tore a hamstring! At least there are positions u can be in where u are not under constant aching pain!:mad: :mad:
 
i actually had a slight tear in my neck muscle, think it was from about my ear down the side of my neck to the trap. wasnt from training though.
took a cheap hit in a hockey game, broke my collarbone, fucked up my neck and i kept playin. after a week had the whole deal (xrays, MRI, etc.) that happened about 3 yrs ago, and i couldnt do heavy shoulder work for a long time.
still hurts in that same spot to this day when i go heavy on a flat or inclined bench press.
 
I have had a few probs but all seemed to heal fine. The first was from squatting, worked so hard I puked, then got up to fast and passed out, head bounced off floor like a basketball and I got wiplash. Second was a little trip over the handle bards mountain biking, came straight down on the top of my head whcih was summarily pushed to the side and into me left shoulder and my right shoulder took the rest of the impact seperating my clavical. I occasionally get a back pull which affects my neck and usually some electro stimulation to relax muslces, a spinal adjustment and a few days of taking it easy and Im good to go.
 
Chiropractor did wonders for me. I used to go for a week or 2 in alot of pain before discovering a quick adjustment could help alot.

When I first walked in the doc`s office I could`nt even stand up straight. My neck was 45 degree angle to the ground. btw after xrays I found out I had herniated disks.

yes

i screwed up my neck doing my neck workouts i had about 30 pounds to much on and wehen i went down it slipped and i was n pain all month long i tore amuscle in it. i couldnt even do pul overs
