I skimmed through one of his ripped books years ago. He was big into HIIT for years before it became popular. I like his ideas of walking long distance on non training days for recovery. His "uniform eating" plan may be much for some people. Eat the same exact foods every day, only whole foods, to achieve optimal results. Regarding bodybuilding, his idea of gaining only 1-2 pounds of new muscle tissue per YEAR is kind of hard to follow. Most people want quick fixes and to see results right away. But I guess if you're planning to be in it for the long run it has some merit. Smart guy though and has some great advice on longevity and health.
