Anyone Elses Shoulders Shot from Benching?

mine r fucked also.. fuckin heavey benching when i was young... 405 for reps just suckes my ass now.. looks like every has the same prob. right around 405 or so.. have to use dumbells..
 
If since I had to go see the doc about my shoulder (I had an impingment for 4 months, couldn't raise my damn arm above parallel...and tried to be a tough guy about it), I have done nothing but DB work on incline, str8 bench, and decline. (after I rehabed my shoulder) I haven't had a problem since then. But now, my elbow is fucking hurting like a bitch, but only on certain movements. Gotta love this game....:mix:
 
I went through exactly what most of you are talking about. Shoulder pain when benching. I now bench pain-free by doing three things.

Rotate your core chest movement between barbell and dumbell flat and incline<4 different routines>.

Work your rotator cuffs before every chest workout.

Stretch your shoulders and pec's between every set of chest.

Works for me.
 
Funny.. I just blew out my A/C joint last Friday. Sucks hurts like hell... I little advice, that I wish I would listen to myself, just because you muscles can handle does not mean you joints can. Joint and tendon injury are very common among AS users for this very reason.
