Mine are fucked.... Any supps to help them out?

I can bench 365 for 10 and then I go to 405 and struggle with 3-4.

it just feels like my shoulders are gonna explode if I get above 385...

I only grow with heavy weights it seems, so this is getting pretty frustrating..

My chest doesnt even fatigue at 405, my shoulders just give out...

Let me know what advice you have or any supps you take to help with joints..

And no Paul Harvey shit..

Got the shoulder problem, too. I think you gotta have the right biomechanics for barbell presses to really hit your chest.

I had to switch to heavy dumbell presses. I get a better angle on my wrists and a much better pump on my pecs. Between dumbell presses, cable flyes and some hammer strength presses I can get a serious chest workout without fatigue in my shoulders.

But I'm not lifting anywhere near your weights, so I don't know if that will help.

When you are on deca, does it help?

i can't do shit for weight on flat bench cause it hurts my shoulders and whips on my front delts.try putting about 20 degrees on the bench and see how that feels. world of difference to me. but try dumbells. barbells lock you into a certain range of motion, that obviously tears at your shoulders.stop doing it! dumbells free up that motion and let your range of movement flow more. i do however recomend declines with barbell those don't bother me at all.ever try pre-exhaustion?? it worked for me for a while. either way don't worry there are enough movements to keep your chest massive without flat barbell press. peace

keeping your elbows tucked into your sides will take a large amount of anterior deltoid out of the movement and give the triceps more overload...but it'll also take some pec activation out as well.
try that or pre-exaustion....dumbell flyes then immedieately bench ; all as one set

Flat bb bench destoryed my right shoulder. I went from a 405 max to 135. I can't do incline or decline either. So, I only use dumbells now and can go heavy on those with no problems.

Shoulders fucked

I fucked my shoulders playing sports (baseball, wrestling, etc.) I can't do flat BB at all. However, Incline BB and DM and any flat DB don't bother me at all.

I think shoulder pain has allot to do with Flat Barbell Benching which adds allot of stress on the shoulders. Now I have never injured my shoulder and have been around the sports circuit when I was younger and I have had cronic pain in my left shoulder-I can work through it but if it wasn't there then my workouts would be allot better. I got checked out by my doctor last week and he told me I have tendentious in my left shoulder from the years of heavy weight stress. He prescribed an anti-inflamitory called Oxiprozin which works wonders any time it flares up I take one and I am good to go.....

I am in the same boat. I can hardly flat bench at all. It hurts my shoulders WAY too much. I stick to incline and other excersizes where the stress seems to be significantly less.
