lacking in fiber?

to compensate I take a double dose of Metamucil everyday and start the day with a whole cup of fiber one cereal.

this is just the minimum.

post up high fiber meals...

High fibre cereal definitely does help. But try making a huge pot of soup and having this instead of the usual breakfast meal. I add spinach, onions, celery and cabbage t boiling water and boil for 10 minutes. I have this with a bit of tomato juice poured over and this is my usual "cereal" in the morning. I have never been so regular and so lean. I also have fruit for dessert every night. I know many people would frown upon this last practise (I too used to limit fruit intake severely)! But give it a try and see the difference it will make to keep you healthy inside and out :)

I know people frown on eating beans, but I eat Vegetarian baked beans as well as different types of canned beans regularly. Plus lots of veggies.....

how long to chop up all these veggies and stuff? can you post what the sodium levels as well as other stats for that dish?

thanks for posting.

My problem is the exact opposite, I think....I often feel sick from too much fiber......like a bloated beast, by with a full 6-pack....so weird......oats, tortillas, beans, broc, cauli, romaine......it's in every meal!!!!!!!!!!!

It takes about 10 minutes to chop everything up (and that makes about 2 pots worth). I add no salt so the only sodium is taht which is naturally occurring in the veggies. The tomato juice I get does however have salt added but the salt in it adds flavour so I don't have to add any.
