there are millions of plans yet i don't want to do any of them

phone rings all day, people have been asking me for weeks what i'm doing tonight

no clue, said fuck it and i'm going out to new haven (party city around these parts)

all i know is i've been off for almost 2 weeks, didn't do shit, ate my face off, played football here and there, managed to lose some fat, lifted, and now i'm going back to work on wednesday

well, its my birthday..so it either ends up really shitty or really awesome. this year was awesome fortunately. problem is its a night with REALLY high expectations and a lot of people going out. sometimes the organization/planning is not worth the hassle

expensive night though too. i dropped 400 bucks

300 just to get in teh club..but the open bar was worth it. ended up tipping the bartendres 80 bucks so i could avoid the lines when trying to get drinks. was worth it though. hooked my ass up

me too dude - i got into all the clubs for free (thankyouuuuu being and hanging with DJs lol) had a bottle of wine given to each of us (why, i dont know...nice wine too) then got staff prices for drinks (despite never having been there before - worked out to be like 3-4 bucks for a giant beer) then at the next bar the gay bartender wouldnt stop bringing over smirnoff blacks and shots

total cost: 50ish bucks, express everything, hot chicks supplied but too ridiculously smashed to care about having sex

...actually i think thats what the bartender was trying to do. bastid. hmpf

It's my birthday so I used to tear it up when I was youger, but about 35 or so I started to stay closer to home. After my son was born the next year, we have a birthday/ new years tradition of getting shrimp, oysters, chips/dips, cheeses, stuff that we can nibble on the whole day and having a B-day/ New Years celebration at the house. It's my favorite time of the year...
