Anyone else get redness under neck after shaving?

Does anyone else get redness/rashiness under your neck after you shave and for the next day and a half? I get it all the time and it's quite annoying because my neck needs to be shaved but I don't know how to not irritate it. Anyone solved this type of problem before? Or anyone have any suggestions to what's causing it?

i have the same problem. I've been using a shaving gel called Bald Guyz something or another comes in a tube like toothpaste. And the titanium razor that has four blades, upgraded from the mach 3. And using cold water after im done shaving. This has helped but is still there.

shave after you get out of the shower. it helps reduce redness

+1^^^^^^ or use a hot towel on the area for 60 sec before. I don't use anything but water after my shower and I never have problems.

i have really sensitive skin and shaving irritates the hell out of my face and neck, all i do i shower first, use a good skin-cleaning scrub and MAKE SURE YOU MOISTURISE AFTERWARDS!!!

shave it after you take a shower but put a cream first so that it's smoothly shaven...

I shave in the hot shower with a mach 3 with gillette lemon lime shave cream,then when I get out I use Pinaud after shave.If I break that routine my neck breaks out.

Shave with the grain and then if you must against the grain for a really close shave.
