I like the tuna out the can. Take two cans empty in bowl add onions mayonase and some hot sauce, then put on whole wheat with some lettuce and tomatoes. And then a protein shake and water. My lunch every day.
I love Tuna its like the staple of my diet... probably because I'm in college and can't afford anything else but I usually eat 2 to 3 cans of tuna a day. Its a great way to get your protein.
The tuna in the new pouch is good. It tastes a lot better. There is no way in hell 7 ounces of Salmon gives you 72 grams of protein. I think we'd all be eating Salmon if that was the case.
1 can salmon
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 whole egg or 2 egg whites
2tbs breadcrumbs
Add all ingredients together and mix. Form into patties or various dinosaur shapes (whichever you prefer). Turn the stove on bake. Spray pan with nonfat cooking spray and let patties brown on each side. Takes about 5-6min to brown. Usually eat mine with ketchup but tastes good without.
Tuna Burgers
1 can tuna
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped green peppers
1 Whole egg or 2 egg whites
2 tbs reduced calorie Bisquick
Follow same directions as above. Tastes good on some wheat bread with any kind of spicey mustard.
