TUDCA is primarily for liver health and secondary with cholesterol management. Dose could really be anywhere from 250-2000mg
Not that I'm saying it's not effective but you're better off supplementing with Berberine, Psyllium Husk, Bergamot and (careful) Red Yeast Rice if you're targeting cholesterol specifically.
On more medication side of things, look up Ezetimibe. Prefer if you speak to your doctor about it though.
What helped me with my lipids bloodwork and organ health was N2Guard (which has TUDCA amongst 24+ other ingredients). It's an all in one supplement for guys like us.
I found out that 600mg of NAC will flare up my stomach ulcer. So not sure I can swing it in small doses or not. But I do take a TUDCA with milk thistle, and dandelion root.
