I am 18... i realise that i am too young for roids and don't have the money even if i wanted to.
Please can someone suggest some supplements for me to take..
I have tried "Complete Whey Protein" and "Pure Creatine Monohydrate", neither are giving me the gains that i am after.

I am not a pro but it sounds like you are not very patient. Be patient, train hard consistently and consume plenty of protein and calories. Watch your diet and if everything is in tact then you should start noticing results after 3-6 months. Good luck bro!

75% of bodybuilding is a good diet... (inclused rest)
25% is training intense

(This is my opinion of course)...just eat right, train hard and stay consistent..just like nitro said, be patient.

peace

Water (at least a gallon a day) Protein 2g per pound, Creatine, L-Glutmine, Oil (Safflower or Flaxseed) Eat a ton of Calories Half a dozen burgers here a Gallon of whole milk there. You get the Idea. Concentrate on core lifts.

bro you're at the perfect age for growth. what you need to do is EAT and EAT and EAT. You should more or less know what your body can handle as far as calories and what it should take to grow. Since you're asking us how do u grow, you're obviously NOT EATING ENOUGH. i agree that the big bulk of body building is nutrition and diet. If you're not eating a clean 3000 calories start now. Then gradually go to 4000 (eating clean remember!) if you're not growing gradually keep eating more and go to 5000 calories. It depends on your metabolism and how slow or fast it is. You will gain fat and muscle, this is inevitable, you just don't want to be packing on too much fat. Make sure your protein is at 1.5-3 times body weight. And drink a gallon of water a day. You will grow trust me.

Your lifts make sure you train no more than 4 times per week and lift very heavy. A lot of people say i train hard and when you train w/ them you see how much of a puss they really are. I'm not saying you're a wuss but crank up your intensity a notch and then another and so on. Just think of muscle pain during workouts as your new best bud. Don't do more than 2-3 working sets in your exercise (not including warm ups) and large mucles do no more than 3-4 exercises, smaller muscles 2-3. Bodybuilding is not by how many excess hours you put in the gym. It's the opposite. W/ bodybuilding, Less is actually More, so don't stay in there more than 1 hour (not including warm up or cooldown). Keep reps b/w 8-12. And focus on compound exercises (squats, deads, bench, dips, pull ups) and stick w/ them and get stronger w/ them.

Supplements you will need... After a month or two of training and eating like this then you could experiment w/ some creatine. For size, i think the other stuff is useless. There's a lot of stuff that's good, but as far as building muscle there isn't. What you definately need after a work out is a protein shake (wpc or isolates) about 50g w/ about 80g of dextrose or honey. Check around the posts they're very good and informative. Your main focus should be on FOOD, lots of Protein, and Rest. I'm not going into other supplements cuz there's too many and i'm tired.

Good luck bro

Sleep, eat clean quality foods, train hard using basic compound movements, be patient, do your research concerning diet and training = sweet success:D

I am actually not that much older then you. I am 19 years old. I can say that for about 7 months in the gym and 2 months at home along with eating like crazy helped me alot. My gains so far have been fantastic if not unbelieveable. My gains have recently come to a slower progression but that is only because my diet and resting habbits have changed. Listen, If you take your protein, the right way, twice a day along with proper eating you will be fine. I can promise you that if your training properly you gains will certainly come, and noticeable ones. The trick is the stay focused, and have goals set in your mind. With Dedication goods things can happen. I was the kind of person always wanting to work out and get bigger and faster and stronger, so I would go home work out for a week, not knowing if what I was doing was the right thing and how much or how little to do, then slack off and stop. Slacker. Completely. This would go on for about two years. Finally, I thought of something to motivate me. Something that I needed to reach. For once I had a set a goal and needed to reach it. Again I started, but this time I wasn't going to stop. No matter what. How does that effect you, or what does this have to do with you? You seem to be looking for the miracle drug or routine, that once you take will allow you to become huge and bigger. Guess what? It doesn't happen that way. Not even roids could do that. First Set your goals. Second see everything in getting to your goals get completed. Third keep going, don't stop. Finally, research make sure your training properly. Supplements you can take to allow you to get there alittle faster. Creatine Monohydrate, Protein ( A must), Glut., Flax Oil, whatever other crap. Don't go to crazy with supplements. Good Luck.
