It's hard to switch over when you've been raised to believe that meat is the main course. It just felt like something was always missing - I wasn't satisifed like I am after a steak or chicken.
I believe that we need meat in our diets - but humans tend to go to extremes in both directions. Right now, I'm satisfied eating 5 or 6 vegitarian meals a week. Not just salads. I like tofu and black bean burgers. I eat A LOT of vegitables. usually a pound with every meal (the frozen green beans or broccoli in the pound bags).
I'd like to try some raw food recipes. If anyone has some good ones, let me know. Something that doesn't require a dehydrator.
