AND I've gotten pulled over again.. SAME STUPID cop - TINTS. Idiot.

InquisitivePsyche

New member
Just got pulled over for tints. I must say, I was doing pretty well since I hadn't gotten pulled over for tints in over a year.

Yup - SAME cop that pulled me over last time (over a year ago). And pulled his same shit. Pulled a U turn, tailgated me, and then when I made my right, he pulled me over. At least this time I didn't have to explain to the fucker that I was JUST pulled over 3 weeks before and I ALREADY had a court date FOR TINTS (even though he wrote me ANOTHER ticket and I had to go to TWO freakin' court dates in one week). I love how these idiotic cops think girls in nice cars don't know what the fuck they're doing. LMFAO - Everytime I get pulled over, I do this "Officer, could you please hang on while I call my brother? He's a lawyer." Haha - their demeanor totally changes. Anyway, this is what I get for tints...so I am willing to take it. BUT

I am not mad I got pulled over.. I am made because the cop was an asshole, gave me INACCURATE information, and abused his power as an officer. Sorry if that didn't get across before.

But if you get pulled over there's must be a reason.
I agree. But sometimes they are just assholes. This one remembered me, I believe - because he acted very different than the last time.

why didn't you take the tint off the first time you got pulled over?

jealous? He works for his money.. aren't you interviewing for your FIRST job?? How can you afford an audi w/o a job? I make good money and I can't even afford one

Ehhh... parents. I have accounts set up and all that, too. My parents are really big on saving money, stock market, business, yada yada. Not me though. I like Psychology LOL

Because I like them and paid for them to get on and it will cost more to get them off. My brother's good friend manages an auto shop so he writes me a fake receipt saying I got them removed. I am not going to get them removed. There is no reason for it. IL is one of the 4 states that has this law. There is no reason to have a law that bans tints. None. No increase in crime, nothing. My brother has access to a private crime database since he's in law school and statistically, there is NO difference whatsoever. These cops are BORED. I mean I have driven by god knows how many cops and most ignore it - they don't care. Even the judge last year laughed when she saw why I was brought to court. No one cares except the few select cops who are bored (THIS ONE who pulled me over last year).

Thank you. I am going to get more pics when she is cleaned and it's sunny out. Someone backed into my front and put a HUGE hole (there was a trailer hitch on the car that backed into mine) - so I have to get the front replaced or whatever they have to do. It's right underneath the front left headlight. I was PISSED.

georgie24 said:
sorry bro you cant argue with the law, why not get the legal level darkness?
That would be NONE. No tints whatsoever. I don't care - I can get around it. I have before and it takes me 10 minutes to go to court so I don't care if it's once a year. I bring a fake receipt. Lmao. Even the judge doesn't care.

nothing like people who dont think the law applies to them.. how can you sit here and complain about the same cop pulling you over and ticketing you for something that is illegal. oh my god.. heaven forbid the cop actually does his job.. fuck if i was the cop i'd pull your spoiled ass over everyday and ticket you for the tints.

you have accounts set up w/ what money?? if your parents are big into saving money why the hell would they purchase a car for you? That is the worst investment ever

No offense but he is THE ONLY cop that pulls me over in my town which is a northern suburb of Chicago. There are MANY other things that he could be doing. In fact, my town's cops get made fun of all the time for doing stupid shit like that instead of focusing on more important issues.

I complain because he's a PRICK. The way he handles the situation is unprofessional and in no way, should a cop pressure you to sign something that you do not want to sign. THAT'S why I complain. Cops think young girls driving nice cars don't know the law - I do.

Not that it's anyone's business here ... but my parents/grandparents indeed know what they're doing. People can't still save money and purchase things? That's the silliest thing I've heard. There are multiple accounts and if you are wise about where you choose to put your money.. your interest can increase a lot each year... earning you a good chunk of change..

I'm not going into detail. My family is all about saving (which doesn't mean you can't spend if you can afford it).

They're Jewish for goodness sake. LOL. ;)

ya you know the law yet you choose to ignore it, you are a winner! if the court/legal system had half a brain they would see that you keep getting ticketed for tints yet supposedly have them removed.. but i realize this is going to get me nowhere since i have the strong impression from your other posts and the fact that you are 23 and going for your first job interview ever that you are spoiled brat and truly think you are above the law

tint laws are gaytarded

They are part of a family of 'laws' designed to provide officers with just cause to pull over just about anybody....

Any new thing that little teenies like to put on their cars are immediately put up as 'illegal' - such as peeps are trying to do with spinners. Nobody with money or clout is willing to spend any energy standing up for these simple things so the municipalities outlaw them to give them the ability to pull over anyone they feel like.

Wow. Typical bodybuilder. A) I may be spoiled but I've worked hard for things I want so I wouldn't go judging a person you don't know B) First JOB interview because I have VOLUNTEERED which I could say has been harder than most jobs (the things I've done volunteering). C) I am NOT saying I am above the law D) The reason the courts don't see it is BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE FOR SOMETHING AS STUPID AS TINTS. As I said, there are other things more important they focus on. For goodness sake even the judge laughed at this.

I am not saying the cop was wrong for doing his job- I am saying that he didn't have to be a freakin' prick towards me.

Damn.. you are an asshole. My point is obviously way above your head.

I wouldn't say shame on my parents when you dont know the situation. I HAVE WORKED but I have never gotten paid. I had to earn my car in others ways so you have absolutely no idea about that. I wouldn't go judging people. I have not suffered in anyway and I give a lot more than I take. So please don't judge a situation you have no idea about.

I laugh because the whole demeanor of this thread changed the minute someone asked me what kind of car I owned and I answered. I bet if I had a Ford Taurus people would be commenting differently...

And my attitude? I am pissed because the cop was a prick to me. Not because he pulled me over. So I joke about it - wow.

what the hell have you worked hard for?? You don't have a job!! You sound like a whiney spoiled brat. I own a house and car, I'm your age. I've worked my whole life (since I was 14). I have 2 B.A.'s and a masters, so technically, I am better than you and therefore above the law.

I have legal tint on my car.... what state are you in?

Unfortunately what you have is illegal so he was in his right to pull you over and being that you have no plans to remove them, you'll have to get used that stupid cop and others pulling you over.

Life's like that sometimes.

Wtf? How do you come to that? You have no idea what I have done in my life and just because it doesn't qualify under a "job," doesn't mean I haven't worked. I shouldn't have to explain myself to you. No offense but just because someone receives things from their parents (and btw, you are judging me off of ONE thing I have received), doesn't mean they haven't worked hard for other things or FOR THAT. I didn't have to earn my money.. but I had to earn it in other ways.

You have absolutely no idea about my life and you should not judge me. I would not do that to you no matter what amount of money you had. You sound like you're being a stuck up asshole because a kid got something from their parents. My God - who needs the lesson? Me or you?

Oh I know. I have no problem that he pulled me over (which many don't seem to get). My problem is that he has tried to abuse his power as a police officer and while doing that, he was a complete prick to me, and told me INACCURATE information about what I could/could not do.

THAT is why I was pissed off. And now people are trying to turn this on me being spoiled for owning a nice car? Give me a freakin' break...

I didn't explain. I guess that was what I was planning on doing as the thread got going but then people shifted it to how I was a spoiled brat...

Funny - that was never brought up until someone asked me what kind of car I drove and I answered (stupid of me).

LMAO. I know this is what they claim (why they pass this law). That's BS. In 46 other states this law does not apply, so any semi intelligent person would obviously come to the conclusion that tints don't make a big difference. With my car anyway, from where he was at (his position) he couldn't have seen in even if my car didn't have tints (just because of the shape/size of my car).

I am not saying he wasn't wrong for pulling me over. I am pissed because he was a prick and was not honest about the law.

I didn't say I earned money (if you read). And that isn't your business. I had to do many things... accomplish multiple goals (that I obviously wanted to do). So tell me oh family psychologist.. why, because i have a nice car, is that wrong?? I am still succeeding in life, doing good, volunteering, earning other things I want, accomplishing goals, challenging myself, etc... so why does a CAR make such a HUGE difference? Please.. do explain?

Well there is...

When you get pulled over the cop can not see into the car to know whether or not you are armed, between the blind spot at the back of the front seat window and the angle of which they must approach the car it would be easy for them to be in a vulnerable situation.

That's why cops shouldn't pull over directly behind you but out on an angle so they don't get hit by traffic and have their engine block is between you and them to duck behind should you be armed and fire at them.

I sympathize with your feeling but in a few year the tint will seem less cool and the notion of dealing with the tint vs. the cooless factor will get really old.

sorry, IP, but i agree with jerkbox.
if you want to have tinted windows- that's cool, but don't complain when you get tickets, especially after the first one, since you knew then that it was illegal.

its not the cops fault- its yours.

i came from money too- a lot of it. i was handed most things when i was younger, and still could now if i needed it...but feeling/acting like you're above the law or that anyone that doesn't cater to you must be jealous... well, that's a piss poor attitude. i hope you get that new job, because if i were your parents, i'd make you pay for any fines you get.

although, it doesn't sound like your parents are all that into teaching you great life lessons.

Lmao - thanks dad. See, the thing YOU dont know is that I already know this. I have ONE thing from my parents - ONE THING. I know I have to earn what i get. Are you kidding me? I just got myself into one of the most competitive Doctorate programs around... do you think I paid them off? LMFAO. There are many things I have had to earn on my own without a "reward." This just had to be proud parents, giving their child a gift. I have a good head on my shoulders.. and I don't care if you think that i do or not because frankly, if you knew who I was in person, you would see. No one would be able to tell I had an Audi TT unless I showed you it. I don't act like a spoiled brat.

See this is why I am getting upset because my parents have taught me ALL of life's lessons. I am not made I got pulled over nor do I think I am above the law. I AM MAD because the cop was an asshole, abused his power as an officer, and didn't tell me legit information. THAT is why. You must not have read what I said earlier in the thread. I am not mad at the cop for doing his job.. I am mad because he gave me WRONG information (when he knew what was right).. trying to trick me with the law when infact I knew that what he was saying was NOT right. He was acting RUDE to me (which is totally unprofessional), and that is not acceptable no matter what. Now, if you were being an asshole back to him, or ended up getting arrested, okay - I understand. But I sat there and was respectful.. and he took advantage of that.

Now that is wrong.

they obviously didn't teach you how to handle criticism....lmao

i actually dont care to get your point. my point is that you are spoiled brat..its fitting you have a picture of you wearing a tiara.. i'm sure daddy called you his little princess and you took that to heart. i'd actually be willing to send that cop who pulled you over 100 bucks a week to pull you over once a week until you obey the law and take off the tints.

Lmao. I can handle criticism fine. But if you're attempting to tell me to sit back and take it - THAT is what I will not do. You criticize me? I fight for what I believe is right.

Your parents obviously didn't teach you the problem with generalizing and coming to a conclusion with a lack of evidence.

Thank you - I have been in reality and I can be pissed if a cop was a jerk and tried taking advantage of him *thinkg* that I didn't know anything about the law. I'm not asking you to care about my problems.. LMFAO. Boy oh boy you are too easy.

I am done. You are not worth this. You don't get what I am saying.

Psyche, I can give you a very, very, very good reason to have your tints removed:

If you are in an accident, no matter WHOSE fault it is, you will AUTOMATICALLY carry a heavier burden of fault for having the tint, end of discussion. If such an accident were to take place at night, you could be very screwed. I'm surprised that your brother didn't bring this up with you.

Whether the law is stupid or not is really beside the point. I think the fact marijuana is illegal is stupid (even though I don't smoke it). I think it's stupid that you can drive at 16, vote/join the military/die for your country/get married at 18 but you can't drink until you're 21 beyond the height of stupidity. I think there are situations where homicide is justifiable ... but the law is the law, and for a society to function all the members OF the society need to abide by those laws.

I find it disturbing to think that your goal may be to become a practicing psychiatrist/psychologist with an attitude like that.

LMFAO. My last post to you because your IQ is obviously as pathetic as your avatar. Tierra = spoiled? Oh wow- you are not too clever, my friend.

Pay him - let him pull me over - the judge laughs every time. And that's what matters.

Oh and it isn't that you don't care to get to my point.. it's that it's way over your head.

That point you brought up about accidents and what not, is rarely legit. There is rarely an issue with that which is why it isn't brought up. There is no negative significant difference in accidents with people who have tints (identifying them) and people who don't. That's all. Now we are bringing my psychology career into this? It has nothing to do with this... everyone is going to have opinions that differ.

:FRlol: @ this thread....

A friend of mine is a trooper and when he was getting divorced he need some extra money so he became an incorporated village cop for extra money.

Long story short, there was a wealthy beach front community with one area of public beach access. The was a lot speeding down that strip and a lot of know drug sales so the cop hung out there often.

He used to tell me stories of what things girl would do to try and get out of tickets - from basic bribes, promises of dates and a good time and the best he said was a girl that was driving in a bikini - she gave him her top and when that wasn't enough she fingered herself to give him a show. He gave her multiple tickets and then told her to go home and get some clothes (he kept her kini top) so she had to drive home topless.

What she didn't know was that he was a women hating machine because of his soon to be ex wife.

The story was a lot funnier when he told it and while he looked like a hot sexy stud he really was a bit of a square at heart.

Good time, good times.

(and no he never did get any slack for keep her top - she must have be embarrassed or afraid her father who happened to be the VP of the Village Association would find out about her slippery fingers)

BAHAHAHAHAA

Gosh that made me smile.
I haven't thought about W. Meadow Beach in years.

Methinks she will be going to college for an Mrs. regardless of the degree she pursues. She needs another daddy to take care of her. :)

LMFAO! That is hilarious! It would be great to see those girls' faces once they finally realized he was a woman hating cop. Haha. Classic.

your point and excuse me if i miss anything.. its hard to type with such a low IQ, is that the cop was rude and gave you misinformation about the law.

1 - cop was rude - who the hell are you? why does the cop have to be nice to you? If i was the cop walking up to a car with tints where i cant see into the car and know whats going on inside or who has what gun aimed at me and i know i've pulled you over for the same thing before i'm not gonna be all polite with you.

2 - cop gave you misinformation about the law - cant really say much here maybe he was just in awe of your sick 250hp TT (if mommy and daddy happened to have sprung for the v6 model)

Pay him - let him pull me over - the judge laughs every time. And that's what matters.

Oh and it isn't that you don't care to get to my point.. it's that it's way over your head.

oh and WTF is tierra? did you mean Legendary latino group TIERRA? The first latin group to have four songs simultaneously in the Top 100.

Anyway, this is what I get for tints...

Now it's time to get a fake receipt that I got my tints removed. Mwahahaha.. STUPID cops.

P.S. I am not mad I got pulled over.. I am made because the cop was an asshole, gave me INACCURATE information, and abused his power as an officer. Sorry if that didn't get across before.
Your an idiot, your the one who is a moron for not following the law. Maybe if you didnt have illegal tints you wouldnt get pulled over. Stupid cop? stupid women.

Ok Youngguns.. don't go drinking again tonight.... it's illegal, ya know? Far more incidents with alcohol than tints.

I'd be quiet.

Way to get gold stars from the other members. Lmao - poor kid.

Ok seriously, theres no need for this to drop into a pissing match.

In defense of IP - the cop didn't have to give her a second ticket for the same thing - but chose to because well, he could and the tint is illegal.

In defense of everyone raggin on IP - eh, well they're right and when you choose to put your life on the net, expect it to be judged and judged harshly.

Youngguns - WTF dude - people flame your ass on a daily basis and you go and do the same thing back to other people - can you like lay low for a day or two and let people start to like you before you jump on the verbal gang bang posse?

I mean JMJ - you can't even enjoy a classic and brilliant ribbing on here anymore because every damn post is one.

Some cops can be assholes, we all know that but every once and a while we run across people that give a shit and are good at their jobs.

... that said there were some really sweet lines on this thread....
but even candy gets sickening after a while.

Please.. do explain?

my parents have money too, they could have easily afforded to pay for ALL my schooling but they didn't, you know why? B/c I EARNED it. I wear a chip on my shoulder b/c I can.. You on the other hand cannot. And it's not just the car. The fact you posted in one thread about your FIRST job interview at the age of 23, is enough to prove to everyone here you have no idea what the real world will be like. You want to go into psychology but you won't make it b/c the people you will deal with will come from a life you've NEVER seen. Psychology isn't like the movies, movie stars don't come in and you don't just sit there and take notes.. There's A LOT more to that (note the random capitalization of specific words). You will get people coming in who will despise you for your background.. you can take that to your grave

THAT is why I was pissed off. And now people are trying to turn this on me being spoiled for owning a nice car? Give me a freakin' break...

i think YOU turned this into him being jealous because you own a nice car.

your first post didn't emphasize that he was a prick at all, except for the fact that he gave you a ticket, so to then later say you're not upset that he gave you a ticket, seems like backpeddling because your thread back fired.

as musclemom also said- i think pot should be legal. i think its SO stupid that its not and alcohol is. so if i'm walking down the street and smoking, and i get a ticket from a cop for the second time, does it matter that I don't think it should be illegal? no.
does it matter that he already gave me a ticket for it? no, because i was smoking AGAIN.
does it even matter if the cop thinks its stupid for it to be illegal? nope.

the fact is, its illegal. he doesn't have to know everything- what he knows is he can give me a ticket, and should and the only person's fault it is, is mine.

i think you're not taking responsibility for your actions, or lack thereof, it getting the tint removed, just like you're not taking responsibility for your first post, which clearly made you sound like a spoiled little girl, since that's how most people are responding.

that's what they perceived. don't blame them.

Damn I am glad i am not your kid. Your parents made have made you pay for school but they never taught you how to be a decent, kind person. I WILL make it because I already beat 75% of others (oh yeah, with my "lack of job experience") in getting into one of the most competitive Doctorate programs - and btw, they ask for a resume and they SPECIFICALLY told me that my resume was absolutely outstanding. So please, if I have a committee from a very well known Graduate school tell me I will succeed with flying colors (which I already know I will), I am not too worried.

Btw - seems like you may need a little therapy yourself. You seem like you have your own type of chip on your shoulder. I have nothing to worry about.. I dont sweat the shit you are telling me I SHOULD sweat. AND THAT my friend, is why I will succeed.

Your attempt to belittle me won't work.

No no- I never said the cop was jealous of my car. That was a post someone else made on the 1st/2nd page. And you're right, I should have added that i was mad that he was a prick and I went back about an hour ago and added that on the bottom. I am not blaming others, I am saying they are bringing irrelevant information into this thread- things that they don't know about yet they are judging. The thread totally switched to me being a completely spoiled brat - and that, is not right.

OH and not that its your business.. but this "life I've never seen," what exactly are you talking about? Obviously I cannot see ALL problems but I assure you, I have experienced MANY. And that is personal... so I won't go into detail. Don't judge a book by its cover. I would think YOU would know this.

A resume applying for school means your transcript. A VoTech college is not a "top" Doctorate school. "Top" Doctorate schools only allow people with masters in, not people who just got an undergrad in psychology. I was accepted to the University of Minnesota's Doctorate program, look it up, it's in the top 5 psychology programs. The "top" doctorate programs are Harvard and Yale (get in there and gloat). You didn't beat 75% of others. You beat 75% of the 25 people who were applying for this "top" school. I don't need therapy, I do it all day long.

There was no attempt to belittle you, you are doing a fine job making yourself look dumb

and btw, before I leave this thread, b/c there is no point of arguing w/ a woman..

Lmao - how clueless you are. NO it does NOT mean your transcript only. I am not sure what school you went to. The school I applied to which is a top school for CLINICAL psychology requires your RESUME AND TRANSCRIPT. And actually, for your information 400 applied to this school. I asked and wanted to know the amount they accept. 50 people. I am not as dumb as you think.

You practice psychology, right? Lmao - I guess they taught you that you should be belittling a "young" persons goals/ambitions? Trying to make me feel like I didn't work my ass off to get in? Great therapist/counselor you are. Do you belittle the drug clients you work with, too? (If I am remembering correctly?)

I am the ONLY person on here who knows whats going on with me. There are people who are jealous becasue of the attention, there are people who actually do not like me for whatever reason, there are people who could care less, and there are people who actually think I'm a great contribution, and believe there are way to many cry babies on this site. It just so happens I agree with them. I have many great convos on here, the only reason why Im singled out most of the time is because how I got here in the first place. Fuck it think waht you want, i dont care.

ok, so this cop is an asshole for doing his job? who the fuck are you that you think the law doesn't apply to you?

it's not the cop who is an asshole, it's you. you are driving around in a car you did not purchase, with tints you knew were illegal, and then you bitch when you get caught. instead of doing the responsible thing, you use whatever measly connections you have to get out of trouble - temporarily - only to repeat the same cycle over again.

you are not only having your brother's friend commit fraud, but you are setting him up to be held in contempt of court by submitting evidence that is obviously and intentionally false.

here is my advice. ready?

stop acting like a 5 year old.

stop using others to get you out of trouble you knowingly brought upon yourself.

stop making others put themselves at legal risk for getting you out of trouble.

take the 'tints' off of your windows or move to a different state.

and finally, stop calling people assholes for simply doing the job they are supposed to do.

I didnt read too many of these posts, but I use to have tints(its illegal here too) and got a few tickets for them. I love the look, I like that people cant see what you have inside your car to steal, plus I like that the sunlight dosent bother you. That being said Im not sure if Ill ever tint my window again because you do get harrased by cops. Its bullshit if you ask me. And that saying that they have to pull you over for a reason..............well they can say anything to back that up.

I agree. I really like mine, too and all for the reasons you stated above. When I drive at night, I feel a LOT safer that people can't see in. I had a weird guy try getting into my car one night a few years ago when I was at an intersection (red light) and my doors were locked, but still - I like that people cannot see in now.

actually they do pull you over for a reason.. illegal tint! :mix:

If I were the policeman I'd have just grabbed my shotgun and shot your windows out. That way I'd be saving you the trouble of a ticket and having the tint removed.

c. you sound spoiled when you tell him you have to call your brother who's a LAWYER. as if he should let you be above the law because of it. So far i'm not understanding where the cop was a prick.

that's the problem, and why you're being blasted for this thread. very little emphasis on what, exactly the cop was a prick about, and a lot of emphasis on how you're not deserving of a ticket.

if you were... say... paris hilton, and driving your sports car while talking on the phone and polishing your nails, and the same cop who had just pulled you over and given you a ticket for the exact same thing a few weeks ago wanted to give you another ticket... would he be an idiot for ticketing you, or for letting you go?

LOOK. I was venting.. you are analyzing this WAY too much and I feel you just want to argue because you keep coming back and quoting OLD posts I have made. Fact is, I was MAD he was a prick (because he LIED to me when he explicitely knew certain facts about what my options were, was extremely rude to me (there is no reason whatsoever.. tints or not) and if you aren't from chicago and dont know of all the issues we are having with our police departments, then please - do not speak. I said that kindly "Officer please hold on because my brother is on the phone, who happens to be a lawyer" - by saying this, they are not as big of assholes.. simple as that. My first post, I was venting, came home pissed, so shoot me. You're right - I should have worded it differently.. OKAY. I am not upset because of what you think I am not upset at all.. just annoyed that people totally flipped the point of this thread around.

And even if I went into detail about why he was a prick... people would try to turn that on me too - oh yeah - all because I own a nice car, right? I never even said the car I OWNED.. I just said "nice" car and that can mean anything to anyone... then someone asked me what car and i answered... why wouldn't I?
