ANBP Diet & getting sick

I've read a lot of posts on here from people who tried Mr X's ANBP diet and managed to get sick while on it.

I'll add my voice to the pile. I'm into my 3rd week on the diet( works great, by the way )and I have managed to develop a really nasty throat infection, which is odd because I rarely get sick.

I don't know if it's statistically significant but it seems that a lot of people are getting sick doing this. Has anyone else gotten sick on this? Howabout keto diets in general? I have read that keto can suppress the immune system because T and B cells don't burn ketones or fatty acids very well. Any truth to this ?

peanuts have something in them that are toxic to the human body......try alomonds instead of all natural pb. just buy a bag of natural raw almonds 1/4 cup = 160 calories
 
did you carb up on your 14th day i think i read that after 13 days you should carb up and that 2 - 3 weeks was the most your were supposed to do the diet for. but yeah how are your gains coming along

I do a one-meal carb-up with chicken & pasta every Friday night.

As for my progress, I'm actually quite surprised. It works out to only about $5/day for my food + supplements, and accounting for water variance, it looks like I'm averaging about 2lbs of fat loss per week. All this and no hunger pangs, too.

I'm getting over my sickness now. The only issue I have right now is that my last chest day I felt a little weak. I went to failure earlier than I used to. I hope I'm not losing too much muscle =/

do you really think the body was meant to eat only peanuts? :rolleyes:
 
Been at it since Feb 3 and my health has not changed any.
Down 23 lbs. Refeed 1 maybe 2 days a week(saturday and sunday).
Strength down a little in some areas but not bad.
