I respectfully ask that anyone with the power to do so, please shut down this forum. I won't be able to contribute to it and I'd rather not have my name associated with something in which does not and can not represent my ideas and beliefs.
This comes after an episode of which some of you may be aware. Basically, I went on the Anabolic forum and noticed the contest between Juice Authority and Satchboogie. Now keep in mind, JA has harassed and dadgered me incessantly over the last two years. His actions went far beyond any reasonable disagreements and well into maniacal, obsessive attacks. Still, he was never banned. Okay. Fair enough.
But when JA finally produced pictures of himself, I felt I had a right to comment -- NOT, only because of the differenes between us, but because of what JA represents. He's the epitome of a self appointed expert who abuses steroids to an outrageous and irresponsible degree. My point was that after all the abuse, he hardly looks like he works out. This, I believe is important for people to know. It WAS NOT an attack on his physique. It WAS NOT a comparison between he and I (although some people tried to make it that). I do believe that someone who doesn't look like much should show some respect for someone who has accomplished something of merit, but that too isn't the issue. The thing is, I admire ANYONE who works hard to better themselves and I said that in my post. The point was; how can someone with no credibility and no accountability to be allowed to flame endlessly and be regarded as a role model for newcomers? It was also important for people to know that drugs are not the only part of what we do. They are the finishing touch. And JA represented the consequences of the non commited bodybuilder who ses drugs to do everything. He isn't even a bodybuilder. He's a uy who just likes taking drugs. I'd like to think we are not about that. I'd like to think that EF represents an ideal better than that. I felt the truth needed to be told. And I told it.
So what do I get for this? The thread was closed and I was banned. Marked as a "hater." The irony here is, EF (or at least George) is one of the few places that had the guts to promote my book even with all the controversy surrounding t, and yet, when the slightest bit of controversy is brought up on the boards, I'm silenced. Even though anyone with a modicum of sense knows that my point was valid. Meanwhile, those who mindlessly flame are allowed to stay. You know, a man can only get slapped in the face so many times before he says; "fuck you". No more.
Let me say this. I have put up with a lot of shit since I've been here -- much of it from those in the administartion who should have had more respect. I have had to constantly prove myself to people who have ZERO accomplishments and have had to get criticized and well as accused of lying about what I've done. And the bitch of it all is, I have made a lot of money for EF, both as an author and for the sponsership of Protein Factory. And this is how I'm treated. It would have been nice to have a few more people on my side for no other reason but professional curtosy.
I decided not to post a few times in the past because I didn't want to take up too much time dealing with nonsense. But I kept coming back -- because I love this sport and I love talking about it with good bros, of which there are many here at EF. I'd also like to mention some of the great mods -- manny, digger, Rick Rock and everyone I might be forgetting right now. These guys do a great job. But quite frankly, I've had it. I'm never asked for much. Just some common decency. Obviously, a message board that shows this kind of bias is not the place. I'm not going to ask why I was banned nor will I ask to be reinstated. I also do not care to be banished to this board as some sort of consolation. So to anyone who has the power to do so, let's close it now. Allow this to end with some dignity.
