Amp solution (finally)

Yo fellas.....been awhile.......with the arrival of my third son "Jacob", life has been rather hectic.......never miss a workout though.

I recall many threads pertaining to what the hell to do with these damn amps breaking and I've finally come up with a sure fire way to quickly open them break-free and worry-free........

Wrap above and below the 'skinny-breakable' part of the amp with electrical tape, then snip off the top with a set of wire cutters........works fine everytime.

(Note)
I've used about every method imaginable, including a small drill and hacksaw, and for some reason I'd lose an amp here and there ....... -never again.

Hope it helps, nothings worse than losing an amp.....

good idea. i have had good luck with a towel to hold the base and a pen cap to break off the top. ive only broken 1 and i open my amps and also for 2 of my friends, its fast and siple!

if it works for you dont change, as you said nothing is worse than a broken amp!!!!!!!

i use a 3 sided file, it's a small jewelers file or a diamond file, score around the amp and carefully break it. i never had any trouble doing it this way..

go to steroidworld and buy an amp opener. they are $15 for three of them.

I have never ever had a problem opening amps by wrapping both sides with toilet paper and just snapping them. Ya'll seem to go through too much trouble! It only takes a second. and SNAP!! you got your gear!
