ok, so I am 250 pounds...about 23% BF...been lifting for about a year and a half...17 years old. Have a good amount of muscle mass...looking to cut. Right now my only option is to do a 40/40/20 diet because I have been having chest pain and the cardiologist doesnt want me on a ketogenic diet. What amount of calories and cario do you guys think would be the best way to go? No AAS either.

Start out with 12Xbody weight.

so 3000 cals a day split into 6-8 meals a day.

don't do cardio yet. take it slow. see how far your diet and lifting gets you first. If you want cardio for health reasons throw in 15-20 min of moderate cardio 3 days a week or so. its best to add cardio at lower body fat levels, as it has more of an impact

try that and see if you lose a little weight. drop 50-100 cals every week. so do 3000 cals, once you stop seeing results try 2900 cals. adjust to the weight you take off.

its eaiser said than done, but thats how you do it.
