Optimum is garbage..
Optimum is a isolate and concentrate blend which is why it is so cheap. You're better off going with a pure isolate such as the isopure or in my opinion go for Grow by Biotest. It's a combination between pure whey isolate, milk protein and casein protein so it will be slower (better) absorbed, and it tastes amazing. Or if that's too expensive go for a middle ground such as whey gourmet (my favorite is PB), it is a 70% isolate and mixes really well and tastes good.

To each his own. First protein powder i took was Sportspharma Promax at 50mg /serving. Tasted good, but gave me the farts and runs. So switched over to Optim Nutrition Whey Choc and love it. Not as much gas and hardly any runs at all. Plus easy to mix and not clumpy when blened like Sportspharma Promax was.
As far as taste, i throw in a scoop of Edys fat free vanilla frozen yogurt or a banana and blend with milk.
