Hi Dylan

I'm about 3 weeks into my Ostarine cycle and am enjoying so far, however I've been doing cardio today and did a usual 3 and a half mile run and found myself getting some painful back pumps including the side of my shins (5 on a scale of 1 to 10). The day before was a legs day and I did do straight leg deadlifts so this may be the cause but just wanted to check that it may be the Ostarine so I could get myself some Taurine?? Thx in advance

It does not have anything to do with the osta... I think you answered your own question bro... It's always good to supplement taurine if your doing a lot of running or having high impact on your body...
 
Ok cheers mate, I got similar pumps when on a ph cycle hence the curiosity. What amount of Taurine do you supplement daily?

I have a one a day that I take and that is what I recommend... 5-10 grams a day

In Europe 2 cyclists have been tested positives for Gw and 1 for Osta... I think that it depends by the test and by the laboratory.

What about MK-677? I need something to recover after workouts (endurance sport) alternative to HGH. I need a cycle or can I use it only when I train hard?
Detection time? I couldn't find it in the WADA list...

Sorry Dylan, I'm not trying to hijack your thread... I just wanted to respond to Tonino - I have done some research on MK-677 for endurance and recovery and have found that it can be used after hard training sessions recovery. With a single dose of 25 mg it will help release GH that drastically aides in recovery, even in young healthy males -

In healthy young men, MK-677 was substantially more efficacious than GHRH, producing a mean peak GH concentration of 22.1 μg/L after an oral dose of 25 mg (M. G. Murphy, data on file, Merck Research Laboratories).

You will probably get the best results when using MK-677 every day during a month long training block but also a once in a while single dose after a hard training should help.

Dylan, have you come across any research that shows GW changing the body to prefer burning fat vs glycogen even when not taking GW? Like a permanent change in how you body makes fuel? I ask because after several GW cycles I now feel my body has become more efficient in burning fat and creating energy.

I am not saying its not possible but there is no evidence showing this... You have to understand that with gw use, you are increasing your endurance, so if you are staying consistent, you are still building endurance that will stay with you, thus enhancing your overall cardio, increasing your metabolism and allowing for more fat burning...

You should be increasing your endurance while using gw... If you stay consistent after use, then you will have built your endurance and should continue to see the increase you made... You may not feel as great as you do on gw every time but the endurance should be there... You are increasing VO2max the more cardio you do and when you build that, you keep that as long as you are continuing with it... Consistency is what its all about...
