All new Queer Eye for the Straight Guy....

was on last night..... did something a little different.....

They "redid" a guy who's leaving any minute now for Iraq for 545 days -- minimum!! Him & his wife were married in Columbia, where she's from & are getting married in the US before he leaves so it's a US-recognized-legal-marriage.....they have a baby too....

They redid their whole apt -- LR & DR..... gave them a bunch of gifts including a camcorder (cuz he'll miss his daughter's 1st everything!), a $5,000 gift certificate to JC Penney's, oh man, all sorts of stuff......

Soooo touching -- brought tears to my eye..... God Bless this young man while he's away....

I like the way they treat everyone with respect, as an individual, but most of all bring little sunshine to their lifes

Ive been trying all day to find out what kind of sneakers they gave him for use in Iraq.(the blue/cobalt ones) they looked badass. Does anyone who saw the show have a clue?

It seems they spent a TON on this family than they usually do..... a redo on the apt. + 2 laptops + $5k gift card, etc etc......

They didn't say the name of the shoe, just that it was a cross-training/running show..... couldn't see the brand either....
