Advice skinny guy, first cycle

Hi guys,

first of all, yes. i've been doing research on this, i know you guys hate people that are too lazy to come up with their own answers and just shoot their questions on forums.

the thing is, i've been reading too much different answers, and i would like your opinions on my personal situation if that's ok :).

So, i'm 1.74 M long (i think that is 5,8. not sure)
i weighed 117 pounds when i started lifting, 7 months ago.
now i weigh 130 pounds.

so i was/am skinny.

i never drank protein shakes, but made sure i had meals every 2-3 hours (at least 20 grams of protein)
i started drinking protein shakes for a few weeks now, because i haven't been gaining anything the last 2 -3 months.

the reason i never drank them was because i absolutely hate the taste of it, when
i drink em now i have tears in my eyes trying to get that shit in my stomach.

stuff i ate a lot; peanut butter, lots of chicken, veggies, fruit, bread, lots of oatmeal, milk, steak, cheese, ...

i havent ate any fastfood since i began training (i guess i just forgot about fastfood because i was always trying to get my stomache full with foods that will help me grow)

anyways, i know you guys always like some specific information before i start shooting my questions.

so yea, i was wondering if it's time to try something new, what are your ideas ?
should i get some test or what's the best thing i could start with.

Thanks guys, if you need any more info about me, ask.

Thanks for the fast reply.

sorry, forgot to mention that.
i just turned 20.

i work out 3 to 4 times a week.

chest/tri, back/bi, shoulders/abs.

if i work out a 4th time it'll be just a light arms day.

no medical history.

Buddy you're entirely too young for AAS. I'm not trying to discourage you or anything but if you've only been lifting for that amount o time, less than a year, I recommend you get your diet on point, there are plenty of great tasting shakes out there if you're skinny then the calories those shakes have will be beneficial to you. 5-6 meals a day, bust your ass in the gym and a couple of years down the line when you hit plateau, start with a D-bol kickstart and Long ester test cycle for bulking it will be great but first grow the most you can naturally, that's my .02 on the matter.

double check your height and weight in feet and pounds. unless you are 15 and are a late bloomer then I don't see how you can be like that.

also post a picture if possible, I would like to see your body composition.

5 8 and 117 pounds is hard to imagine but possible I suppose.

Like i said, i just turned 20 years.
i understand, ive been lifting for 2 years actually. but i've been dieting seriously for 7/8 months, thats the only time i saw improvement so theres no need to mention the 2 years.

so your opinion is to stay away from steroids and stick with some high calorie shakes.

still would like to see a pic. and yes stay away from steroids, sounds like you haven't even stopped growing yet. do not juice until 26.. also i recommend a testosterone test to see if you are low.

click on my profile and look at my pic.. I am shorter then you and I weigh 185 pounds. I did not get like this from steroids.. I got like this through hardwork at the gym and eating a ton of nutritious food.

12 years of lifting.

so if you put in the hardwork it will pay off long term..

@ stevesmi the info i gave is correct, like i said, i'm really skinny.

i used an online converter to convert meters to feet, 1.74 Meters = 5.7 Feet
53 kilo = 117 pounds

i am 59 kilos now = 130 pounds.

i will provide a picture in a bit.

I was that exact weight(117 lbs), 5'8 1/2 at 20 years old. To the poster, try to learn to eat more and find the workouts that give you the best results. Do that for 2-3 years and see where you stand before you consider the juice. I am 5'8 1/2 and now 34 weighing in at 190. As you can see it still takes a long time.

Theres one of the problems -right there No squats,Deadlifts, both of these exercise will tax the body ,release adrealine, and HGH.
Notice all the big boys do these.

If you are willing to follow my advice to a "T" i will be happy to guide you in your Quest for body mass. but if you're not serious don't waste my time.

Shakes, creatine, aminos a high calorie low fat diet the whole shabang bro, just stay away from AAS for at least 5 more years, the gains you will make until then will be the base of any cycle you choose, plus you'll get to know your body which is priceless because once you go on steroids it will never b the same without them, PCT and all that is nice and everything bu once you get a taste for them, you'll never feel the same when off cycle.

i thought i was eating fine already with those 5-6 meals i had a day.
guess i have to make those meals bigger.

@ radar.

i am definitely serious, all my buddies gave up after 2 months.

Squats and deadlifts ay, i'll start working on that, anything else?

increase your weight and sets/reps as you get stronger. push yourself that way.

eat a large breakfast and eat after your workout ++1 and eat eat eat eat in between.

set a mental goal and weigh yourself everyday. learn from what works and what doesn't as you go.

oh and read these boards cause these guys on here know their shit. some of the best info you can get anywhere.

High weight low rep workouts work great for me. Most def hit the squats and deads bro, they are manatory as far as I'm concerned.

thanks guys.

1 more thing, my cousin weighs only 132 pounds, but he looks 180 pounds. NO JOKE
he is so big, but his weight is really low. he is only workin out for 5 months, that makes me feel bad. i am half him and he started after me, he does not consume protein shakes nor he follows a diet, when i watch him in school, he lives off sandwiches..

he is is an ectomorph too just like me ( well he doesnt look like one now anymore )

whats the deal with that ? if you'd take a look at him, you'd say hes been working out for 2 - 3 years.

everyone has different genetics and bodies are different. some of us are born to write software on a computer, others are born to cut people open, some to fix cars, some to bodybuild. you don't have to compare yourself to others when it comes to our sport, you are competing with yourself. you have a long ways to go.. a solid 15 years of quality lifting, you should set a goal right now to be stronger every year and look better.. keep improving.

of course things come up.. jobs, school, divorces, deaths, etc. you may not workout for a couple years. late teens I was working out almost everyday then I didn't work out much in my early 20's, too busy with work and no motivation... but i turned it around and got back in the game and am now the strongest I've ever been.

EAT EAT EAT and TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN

I think you are far too young and small( I mean in weight) to begin using steroids. If you are skinny its because your not eating enough. This fatal flaw when using steroids could seriously harm your health. Also I seen your training routine? Where is the legs day? If your trying to add mass and weight legs are greatly important. All strength starts from the bottom and up trough the core.

At such a low weight I think another year of natural training will do your body wonders. The fact your so small, if your training and deit is correct and as good as you say, your body will be shocked and have no choice but to produce amazing muscle, and at your age you have the wonders of youth at your side making this possible. Keep the steroids for later in life when they are needed more. To help you push through the size barrier and not to make up numbers while you cant be botherd waiting.

You sayed you have stopped gaining as much. Mix up your training every 6-8 weeks and keep the body guessing. When the body is in shock it has no choice but to adapt and grow.

Post up another topic in the diet and/or training forums and you will have the information you need from the best minds in the business.

To the OP, the guys have covered this quite well but I'll add something that helped me a great deal.

Get yourself a nutritional/caloric book. It will list damn near anything you could possibly eat. The one I had even included the major fast food chains. It's a pain in the ass initially but you'll get it down after a few weeks.

Write down all your meals and calculate your caloric/protein/fat/carb intake. Once I started doing this the gains came. I went from 158 to 193 in close to exactly a year. I believe the basic formula I followed was 18xbodyweight for total calories.

I thought I was a hardgainer but once I really tracked my intake it was simply a matter of not eating enough. You're also gonna have to sack up and get a couple shakes in there too. They do help you reach your caloric/protein target number.

I would definitely check you diet and routine. What I felt was a mass load of food when I started eating healthy was actually only about 2000 calories. And that's a pretty decent cut for me. And lifting as heavy as I can but learning to focus my muscles rather than just getting the weight up changed everything quite a bit.

Look into other protein too. There is no reason it should be hard to get down with the products out there. I prefer Optimum Nutrition brand protein because it is manufactured well and the taste is decent. Anyone should be able to drink that shit all day easily. And since you are naturally skinny, you could always go with BSN products. Not as healthy but jesus, their bananas and cream shakes are fucking amazing. But you should get as much protein from natural sources. Just use shakes to cut down on how much food you need to prep.

Lastly, and I'm not recommending this and never would. But when I started out at 19 @160 pounds, 6 feet tall, I fell into the notion that you need to eat big to get big. Well, I sure as hell did. Lol I was eating 3 double bacon cheeseburgers with fries, tons of water and 3-4 scoop shakes a day. Now this is a HORRIBLE way to bulk. But it got my body easily use to eating lots of food and always stuffing myself because it tasted good. In a little less than a year I was 220 and lifting real heavy. Needless to say, I was about 25% body fat in the end. Lol but I got big!

In the end it made my craving way worse than I think the average person gets when I switched to eating clean. But I can also down ridiculous amounts of food because I was use to it. Again, I wouldn't recommend it in anyway but it is a route you can take if you just can't possibly eat anymore...

So let me get this straight, pratik you used to be jeweetzelluf? What have you been doing these last 3+ years? Have you continuously been training? What is your weight now? I hate to compare my 9th grade stats to yours and I know those are prime growing years but I wanted to gain weight so I ate! SizeUp1000 shakes, which tasted like shit and had these funky textured little chunks in it but I drank them by the case and eventually I enjoyed the taste. Drink whole milk, I used to drink almost a gallon a day and my mom would scream at me when she woke up in the morning and there wasn't any left in the fridge haha she would make me walk to the store to get more but I needed more anyway so I went. Train, train, train! People think they could stick some gear in their ass and that sit it down on the couch, wrong! I gained almost 30lbs that summer alone and then another 80lbs over the next 2 years before I even considered AS. Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is some people have it much easier than others with the gift of genetics and all. That's not to say it would be impossible for you to make a major transformation, but some gear is going to do little to nothing to change anything if you're not willing to work!

If he put on 10lbs a year and he's 25 now then maybe its time for his cycle hahahaha i doubt he still checks this
