Adding whey to milk

Would adding Whey protein to milk (as opposed to water), result in a more sustained release of the protein in to the blood stream (like Casein)?

milk is mostly casein + a little whey

yes it does help. Even better if you really want to slow it down to add milk + flax to whey

post workout....

But post workout you want a straight shot of protein to your cells/muscles. So I guess the milk wouldn't be great for that ay? I do mix my protein shakes with milk though. Regardless of when I drink the shake.

Milk does not have that high of a protein content. But factually it has 60%casein and 40%whey.

Post workout you are better off with a faster protein, whey. So add water.

Otherwise the more sustained release can be better achieved with a mixture of proteins, like triple threat etc, but if this is the best you can do, go for it, assming its not post workout.

Yeah, its intended for night use. Last thing at night before going to bed.
Post workout it would be with water w/Dextrose.
