adding oat bran to my protein shake

Hey guys,
I will add some raw oatmeal to my protein shake to get some fiber in there and I just want suggestions from your protein shake veterans as to the best way to add it in there.

Simplest way would be to blend it with a blender or magic bullet.

What I like to do is to make the oatmeal and then mix the protein powder in. It tastes delicious and I enjoy it much more then drinking a shake.

I pour boiling water over instant quaker oats. I let it sit for around 20 minutes and then stir in the protein powder. It's awesome. You can then top it with things like fruit, chia/flax seeds, nuts etc.

Another thing. Pour your milk or whatever you use on your oats and let it sit in the fridge over night. Then it's soft and blend it.

That is exactly the same thing as I have been doing every morning for the last 3 years, and I absolutely love it, since I can change the taste by changing the protein product, and still eat those oatmeals, which become much more appealling when cooked this way.
