About facials--it is an excellent idea to get a facial PRIOR to starting a tanning session, be it indoors or out. The facial will irritate the skin, deeply cleanse it; the tanning will help heal it..my esthetist taught me this. You also may want to explore oxysoralen or trisoralen to prevent burning. As a last resort, see a dermatologist for the latest acne treatments--if you go, just tell the Doc that you have tried every home remedy and nothing worked, and that you have always had PERSISTENT ACNE; no need to mention the AAS.
