Accutan need advice please

Hey Guys, i got really bad acne from my previous cycles, ive tried everything there is past two months.Today i wen to the dermatologist, and she said its really bad, she told me i developed internal nodles, and the only way out is taking accutane. I told her i use steroids regularly and she said while on accutan no roids at all. But the thing that F*cks it all is that the treatment takes 6 full months + 1 month to my liver +cholesterol levels go back to normal.

Has any of u guys taken accutan, and stayed 6 months out of juice ? ITS 1/2 a year off..to muuch time. any sugestions ?

seriously, he's right. I had to do the same thing. I started out at 60mgs ed on accutane and stayed off the juice. Since this permanently changes your skin and shrinks your oil glands, why not do it? Isn't this part of the sacrifice to look good? Now, with that being said, I did cheat a little! HA!

I just finished a cycle at the end of August. I started accutane in October. I did a small 5 week 200mgs primo inject. during dec and january to maintain. I figured since primo is one of the best steroids out there and that it doesn't cause liver values to raise significantly, why not? I still remained oil and acne free, but like I said, it was maintaining and I still gained about 8 pounds of lean muscle. Other than that or Var or OT, I wouldn't touch a thing if I were you Accutane is a permanent fix to your acne problems and you should sacrifice for it. Unless your 6% bf or under and ripped like a mofo, I wouldn't chance it. Most steroids will significantly raise your liver values and accutane will do a number on you.

This is my advice for your accutane 6 month cycle. Trust me, this will work if you do it.

3-5 grams of OMega 3-fatty acids per day. This will keep your liver values - cholestoral extremely low while on! It worked 100% and my doc kept tripping out cuz my blood values were so great even on accutane!

Buy Vaseline Extensive Skin Lotion. It's in a White squeeze tube or huge bottle with a blue lid on it. It doesn't smell and it's not greasy. I found that it's the perfect way to keep your skin moist a few months after you start drying out. You'll be putting it on your face and arms/legs almost every 2 hours for relief from the dryness that comes along with accutane. If you get a rash on your forearms , it means your level of accutane is perfect. I was on 60 mgs every day for 2 months then increased it to 80 and stay like that for the rest of the cycle, but don't start putting this lotion on until your skin dries out.

Next, buy a bottle of vaseline lubricating drops - or lubricating drops without preservatives in it. You'll put a drop in each eye almost every hour to keep the redness and dryness to a minimum. My eye doctor told me to do it like this and it worked perfectly while on.

Finally, Buy a small bottle of 3oz Eucerin AquaFore for intensive skin repair. BUT, you won't use this on anything but your LIPS. It's almost the same consistancy of lip balm or the stuff you squeeze out of a small lip balm tube. This might seem extreme, but what I did was after purchasing a bottle of vaseline lip care ointment, i didn't care for it as much as the Aquafore, so I squeeze out all of the vaseline in that 1oz 1/2 oz squeeze tube and injected the AquaFore into it. I did this cuz it's smaller tube to carry around and to this day, I still use Aquafore on my lips. Another recommendation from the derm. You might get some samples and use those little bottles also, but like i said, i bought the bigger one and used it as a refill into those small ones using a syringe and I had to make the hole a bit bigger as well.

If you do that, you'll be fine.

Wow man, THANK-YOU VERY VERY VERY MUCH for the huge attention to my problem, i no most people wouldnt care bout my post, but thanks for the fantastic advice. I will do it for 6 months and no juice, and to compansate i will do a heavy cycle after this time off. Thanks again bro.

this is what i was thinking, just stay off of the orals. because while on accutane your doc may have you get monthly blood work for liver values. my acne never really gets bad till AFTER my cycles anyway, so i was lucky and used between cycles
now for the GOOD news.... buck up do this..
i've not had my acne come back since i did a 5 month cycle of accutane almost 3 years ago... it's that good !!
you can also take a maintenance dose of about 20mcg day to keep it under control before it gets bad during future cycles if you do feel you have a problem.
there are several other accutane threads going around be sure to read them all as there are some other good posts..
have you tried the B5 ? pantothenic acid try taking 3 grams a day for a month or two this will help with your skin also, but be sure to take a good multi-B vitamin at the same time as too much of one b vitamin in excess can screw up your homeostasis...

i actually told my derm too that i was on, because he said my skin wasnt bad enough to need accutane, and i told him " it will be in a few months when i'm coming off of my cycle "

anyway once the dryskin/nosebleeds started getting to be too much for me (around the fifth month) i dropped my dose in EOD day, and kept my dose the same on the other days..
the best thing i found for lips is called Neosporin LT (lip therapy) comes in a tube, it's expensive at five bucks a tube but well worth. whatever you do, STAY AWAY from carmex, that shit will kill your lips...
you will also get nosebleeds because the skin inside your nostrils will be so dry and cracking, take some lotion or neosporin and actually wipe the inside of your nose with it this will help. i never got bad eye symptoms and never needed to do the eye drop thing, but everyone is different. you will see how your body reacts, but do exactly as the derm recomends for the first few months and then you can adjust your dose as you see fit. i actually started taking about half of my prescribed doses, but kept filling my scripts for the full doses, and i ended up with enough leftover to do another small cycle, or at least a small maintenance dose if i ever start to get it again, but to be honest, i've never had a bad acne problem since i used the accutane and that was 3 years and quite a few cycles ago...
you'll be glad bro. another reason to stay off gear while using is because this is some hard core shit and it will fuck you mentally also, so being hot headed due to hormonal changes from gear and this stacked also would probably be a bad idea.
