About Creatine.....

I was searching through the forum to find out the best way to take creatine..

It's sorta a split view.. some of you recommend loading phases and maintenace and others just recommend no more than 5 - 10g a day..

I'm confused as i dunno wether to load it or just take 5 -10g a day..

Some responses would help heaps.. thanks! :D
 
Seems like one of the better creatines you can get is teh Dimaxx from Germany. No loading phase, no nasty frink, easy to dose and take. People are swearing by thi sstuff. Best price I found was at affordablesupplements.com
 
It doesnt matter what brand of creatine you get....either way DO NOT do the loading phase. Just a ploy for you to waste more money. Stick with 5g per day and ull be fine.
 
Do load, if you don't load it will take longer to get the full benefits of creatine, which you get after your muscle cells are loaded to the max with creatine. they will get fully loaded, buth without a loading fase it will take longer to get there.
 
to all those who believe in a loading phase, its bullshit. its been proven that the same results by the end of a two month cycle either way, just at a different phase. down with the loading!
 
I know about that research, it is showing that the amount of creatine in the muscle is the same after the two months (loading vs not loading). But it doesn't speak in terms of gains in strenght and musclegains. Again, with loading the you reach the maximum absorption of creatine sooner, and so reach the fully potential of creatine sooner. Read the research again.
 
Thanks for the input fellas.. I guess loading has an advantage and disadvantage judging from the replys :)

But ive also heard that after 2 months of tests they revealed the same results from 1 person loading creatine and maintenance as opposed to the other person just taking 5 - 10g a day..

Oh well im just gonna go 5 - 10g to start off with and see how it goes...

If you want to do a loading phase then fine and if not fine. Just take it right after training with some kind of insulin spike and some carbs to get it into the muscle. That is most important.
 
bah.. here we go w/ creatine..

-no loading phase, its a scam.
-5g a day will do you just fine
-cell tech is a great brand since they add ALA, but any brand will do
-all creatine in the world is produced by the same exact company, so the quality of creatine does not matter
-take an hr or half hr before a workout
-CREATINE SERUM IS BULLSHIT
-stick w/ powders
-hope we're clear on creatine...
